Alot of space avail in the bag, File fan are great, laptop topload ok for 14.1 inch , but quite a snug fit for 15.4 inches leaving only an inch of space horizontally. It weighs in at 8 pounds, but the latest Trevi architecture 3.0 weighes in under 5 pounds. It is a heavy bag compared to 3.0. The build quality is great will last a decade even more, other than the weight issue I have no complaints for the price of $162.00.

Bulky and Clumsy,
This review is from: Victorinox Architecture 2.0 Trevi Briefcase (Apparel)
I always wanted a Victorinox bag as I immagined it to be the ultimate in luxury and protection for a laptop and to be utra rugged and user friendly etc but was sadly mistaken as it is extremely bulky and clumsy to carry around. There isnt a dedicated compartment for laptop charger and the padding for the lap top compartment is inadequate as compared to Dicota or Kensington Contour etc. My biggest complaint is its lack of balance to stay upright, inspite of its rather wide footprint. Once I placed it on a step at the bottom of the stairway leading upto my apartment and moments later, I saw it tumble down onto the sidewalk! It lacks balance to stay upright even when not loaded with files and tends to flop onto its side. Lucky for me, the magnesium ally chassis on my laptop protected it!
