5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic, September 22, 2007

I love this bag. It looks great because it's got a little more structure than the usual computer bag. It has pockets for everything. The magnetic ticket stash on the front is pure genius.

My only complaint is that the pocket for storing this over a suitcase handle is a little too big. That allows the bag to twist around on the handle.

Final note: the cell phone attachment broke. I called Victorinox and they sent a new one. No questions asked. No returns. Just great.

5.0 out of 5 stars This has been my bag for over 10 years, January 16, 2009

The bag I got was slightly different; if it had a sleeve for the laptop it was long ago misplaced.

This bad has held up for 10 years until it finally started to wear out, the fabric near one of the attachment points for the strap is tearing.

But that is after 10 years, about 8 years of almost daily use and abuse, and a year of having my youngest son use the bag as a jumping mat whenever he could get his hands on it.

It has the most comfortable shoulder strap I have ever felt.

The expandable feature is great. On business trips or vacations, I always had one change of clothes with me even when the airline misplaces my luggage. On shorter trips I could usually manage to get everything in this bag. But closing the expendable section cuts down on the bulk considerably.

I am tempted to try and repair the bag because otherwise, except for the paint being worn off the hardware the bag looks and works the same as it did when I bought it over 10 years ago. But since I have a new 17" laptop it is quite a snug fit so I might shop around a little. I doubt I will find another bag that serves me as well for a decade.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice bag!, May 13, 2010

This review is from: Victorinox Architecture Trevi, Expandable Laptop Brief (Apparel)
I really like this bag. It is extremely roomy and compartmentalized. I like the fact that it expands and contracts (not on its own though) to accommodate a laptop or other bulky materials. The shoulder strap is very comfortable and ergonomic. It feels as if it is made from a stretchy material so as to allow some shock absorption when walking. The only problem (and it's barely a problem) is that a part of the leather covering on one of the handles started to become unglued, but nothing a little Gorilla Glue couldn't rectify.

5.0 out of 5 stars Durable, Aesthetic, Large, March 5, 2010

This is a wonderful case in every respect. It is made of tough acrylic that is easy to clean and hard to dirty. It fits quite a load inside and expands. The material is very tough and does not rip or tear. I have had this thing for 2 years and despite considerable use it has not developed a tear or even a scratch or, for that matter, even any wear or tear. It looks like it was just purchased a few weeks ago. This is despite the fact that I load it up and carry it many hours a day (I need to travel from client to client site throughout most days on the subway). There are many zippers and the contents are easily accessable as a result of this plus the fact that the compartments are quite sizeable. Also, the computer compartment has considerable padding. Despite the beating the case takes during my daily routines have never had a computer damaged. The case also comes with an excellent high quality wide strap that makes it relatively easy to carry. All and all an excellent case, especially for the road warrior type. The relatively high price (about $200) is very well worth it.

I got this bag for my mother to use for work. It is a great sturdy bag with lots of compartments. I also received the bag promptly from Luggage Guru, very fast shippers. I would recommend this bag for anyone who is looking for a great quality bag.
