Product Description

Sometimes your arms are so pumped out that it takes you five minutes to untie your figure-eight knot. Opening an energy-bar wrapper is out of the question unless you use the handy scissors on the Victorinox Climber Swiss Army Knife. If your climbing buddy makes fun of you, flip out the reamer and make a few threatening stab gestures. Snag a refreshment bottle out of its cooling spot in the river and use the Climber Knife's bottle opener to gain swift and merciless access to the relaxing liquid. A large and small blade, corkscrew, and small hook fold into this sleek Climber Swiss Army Knife.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent pocketknife, but you'll miss the screw-driver.., September 25, 2001

This classic Swiss Army knife will serve you well -- I've had mine for going on 10 years. However, this model does not have a Phillips-head screwdriver function, which I find extremely useful. If you can deal with that missing element, I'd say, buy away!
Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars A classic. Perfect for the urban backpacker., December 1, 2005

I purchased my Climber in 1991 and have enjoyed every minute of it. It was - and is still, as far as I can tell - the most compact Swiss Army knife with both the scissors and the corkscrew, the two attachments I felt were the most useful (to me, an urban backpacker at the time) after the two basic knives. I have given The Climber as a gift many times, with great success. The Climber is amazingly sharp, strong, and helpful. I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Nice clasical, September 30, 2005
I've had my Climber knife for almost 14 years now, and it is as good and shiny as new. (And I bought it from Switzerland, not that this would make any difference).
Lost the tweezer, and just ordered a replacement, so that my Climber is "whole" again.
Very nice and faithfull tool!
