Victorinox Comfort Fit Shoulder Strap

The shoulder strap works well as long as the clothing it is sitting on is not very smooth, for example it keeps slipping off of my shoulder when I am wearing a smooth winter coat. It needs more friction material, like rubber, to make it grip more.

Looks great and aesthetically matched my my Victornox briefcase. HOWEVER.....this strip was slightly different than the original manufactures' strap and it slides off my shoulder way too easily. Whether walking, using a staircase, et cetera; it slides off my shoulder way too frequently. This product needs more "grip" for the shoulder so that it does not slide off the shoulder so easily.

This is a high-quality strap with a rather glaring flaw: it doesn't stay on your shoulder. The very first bullet point in the product description states: "Anti-slip surface prevents strap from sliding off shoulder". Unfortunately, the "anti-slip surface" is actually relatively smooth and slippery. If they fixed this issue, it would be a five star product.

I ended up purchasing the strap made by Lowepro: Lowepro Deluxe - Shoulder strap - black. It's not as stylish as the Victorinox strap, but it's comfortable and nice and grippy.

I needed to replace a shoulder strap for my laptop case. I had bought one several years ago that was stretchy, so that it distributed the weight across my shoulder. Most straps are pretty rigid, and cut into your shoulder if you have to carry a laden-down laptop case very far. My old one never did. This one is not quite as stretchy as the old one (which appears to no longer be made), but it is better made, and thus far seems to be doing a fine job. I'm very pleased.

When my Tumi's strap wore out (prematurely, I thought, but unfortunately their "lifetime warranty" people didn't), I was reluctant to invest $35 plus shipping in another one. So, I shopped around on-line and only found replacement straps that looked flimsy and cheap ... totally unworthy of my Tumi ... that is, until I came across the Victorinox. It looked durable, heavy-duty, less than the Tumi ($30) and had a good brand name (and no gaudy red-&-white cross logos anywhere ... only a couple of subtle embossings). When I received it, I was not disappointed - the materials, construction and comfort were all as good, if not better, than that of the Tumi. When my Tumi bag is worn further to the point of replacement, I will be sure to consider Victorinox.

This was the original strap that came with my Victorinox bag. Although it looks nice and matches the bag it slips off your shoulder easily as other reviewers have already noted. I used to wear the strap across my shoulder like a sling bag but the curved strap actually doesn't fit as comfortably when you wear it across your shoulder.

The metal buckle to adjust the length of the strap broke for no reason so I had to find a replacement. Instead of buying this strap I decided to purchase the CaseCrown Comfort Air Cell Padded Shoulder Strap. The CaseCrown is so much better! It fit my bag with no problem and if you didn't look too closely you would never know that it didn't match.

I carry two laptops in my laptop carrier and have worn out two straps in less than two years. This strap is strong and comfortable on my shoulder. The swivels and buckles are much more stout than those on the two straps that broke. Although it is a bit early to tell how this strap will hold up for the long haul indications are that it is up to the challenge.

For years I suffered from my laptop bag's strap cutting into my shoulder. I tend to stuff it full of documents, external hard drive, stationery, etc. The Victorinox shoulder strap easily distributes the weight across your shoulder so even a heavy load doesn't FEEL so heavy anymore. Highly recommended!

I bought this strap to replace a similar strap from my Victorinox bag. The old strap broke because the clasp snapped off. This strap appears to have an improved clasp design that (hopefully) won't break. This strap is comfortable, has a nice gel feel, and has a rubberized bottom that keeps it from slipping off your shoulder. I like it.

In lifelong experience as a pro, I never encountered a better strap - functional, solid, superior quality and top look's.
It makes a 20 dollar bag look like a 200 dollar pro bag.
The anti slip portion makes sure that the bag will not slip of your shoulder. The ergonomic design and large surface cut's the weight of a heavy bag in half.
Great product - there is nothing like it!
