I purchased this watch from Amazon and I got to tell ya I am really impressed. I have been looking for an orange watch for a while and this one is a keeper. It may quite possibly be the perfect diver watch. Its chunky with a great weight--but the cool thing it doesn't wear to big at 40mm. The gun metal PVD case and bezel is a great addition and really brings out the orange. The rubber band is very comfortable and it has a see through back which is not common on 500M diver watches. The lume is among the brightest I have seen. It rivals the Omega Seamaster. Pick one of these up (lots of colors to choose from) and you will not be disappointed.

I was looking to add a watch to my collection, and wanted to find an automatic diver with an orange face. I narrowed my choices down to this or a Seiko Orange Landmonster (SNM037). The research I did through various watch forums indicated that both watches were exceptionally well-built, with quality movements and good value for their respective prices. I opted for the Victorinox, and I am glad I did. It shipped from Amazon quickly and arrived ahead of schedule. The watch is built like a tank, it is heavy, and fits perfectly on my small wrist (~6.5"). I was leery of buying one sight unseen (all the local authorized dealers had none in stock - and they wanted MSRP ($1095) to order one in), but am extremely happy with the purchase. The case is tall, but it wears well and doesn't look awkward. The ETA 2892 movement seems smooth as can be expected and the lum is exceptional - although it only lasts a couple of hours. Some reviews I've read indicated that the sword-style hands were a negative; however, I do not find them to be - they are easy to see and read. The unidirectional bezel rotates tightly. I did replace the band with a black 22mm Maratac Elite strap with orange stitching. While the original rubber strap isn't as bright orange as it might appear in the photos (it's more of a creamscicle color) I thought it was a little too much orange on my arm. Overall, an excellent, Swiss-made watch from a reputable maker

i love the watch. it is just NOT as bright orange as the pic suggests however. price is best u can find though.

also, there is a lower price one with chronograph that i should have gotten. not sure why this version was higher price....all in all though, still great watch

I am not sure how to describe my feeling with this watch performance.

Let me start by saying that the watch is absolutely beautiful, other than that, I have nothing good to say about

the watch, the first day I have the watch, it runs one hour ahead of the regular time. I thought it was me not paying attention setting the watch s time. The second day, after carefully setting the time... My watch ran 1 hour and 10 mins ahead of regular time.

I can't explain to myself why such well known,popular, and expensive watch like this would have this kind of inaccuracy. I am so fed up with this watch right now, and I can't contact Amazon, customer service... They do not have that option on their website.. I guessed it's only one way communication with these people.

Secondly, after I paid for the watch, I found it cheaper on Theonlinewatches.com for $180.00 different.

I have send Amazon customer service rep. and informed them about the price, and ask for a price match... they told me to not to accept the watch. common man, is this really how Amazon been doing business.

Also, I am not impressed with the quality of the watch.. will definitely return the item.
