I can't imagine how a famous quality brand like Victorinox would sell a watch that is supposed to be water resistant to 100 meters, if it can't resist even a hand wash!!!! I acquired mine about 2 mos ago, went swimming once and nothing happened,but since two weeks ago, moisture appears inside when I wash my hands. Having worn Victorinox knifes and cuttlery for years, I feel cheated with this watch's quality and my recommendation is: Don't buy this item until the company gives explanations, review the manufacturing practices regarding the 24841 CB Watch and give the money back to all those who acquired it. My Seikos, Citizen Eco Drives and others never failed.

My wife sent this watch as a new year gift of 2010. I like it very much, it's beautiful, tough and shining! Plus, it has a very good price compared with the high quality it owns. I believe I can wear it for my whole life.

Starting about 2 months after purchase, this watch now has moisture under the glass everytime I put it on for more than a few minutes. I've never submerged the watch under watch for more than a few seconds - e.g. washing hands or giving the kids a bath. I contacted Victorinox customer service and they require that the watch be sent in for repair - 6-8 week wait time.

I bought this model in December 2009 and to my surprise moisture under glass appeared after only three months of use. Please note that I only swam (shallow) and had showers wearing it.
I took it to an authorized service center in Uruguay and they requested me to pay about 70 US$ to repair the moisture damage. I then sent e-mails to customers service center in Switzerland and got no answer. I also faxed them and again got no answer.
I'm very dissapointed with the aftersale service offered by Victorinox Swiss Army.

I purchased the version of this watch with the white face. Like others, I found that it did not resist even brief submersion to a depth of a few inches, even though it is in the category of 100 meter water resistant watches. Mine had moisture inside after being submerged for a few seconds a couple of times at the beach, and stopped working a couple of weeks afterwards. I used another Swiss Army watch (Swiss Army Men's Original Leather Accented Watch #24378) with similar water contact with no problem. This was a surprise and causes me to want my money back.

Just a couple of weeks after buying this product and using, it has been moistured between the glass and the background. I have seen the same feedback from other customers, please what kind of products are you selling? I will return it back inmediately, since this does not fulfill product descriptions.

After reading previous two reviews, I made a decision to buy it from Amazon.com. The real watch is bigger than what I expected from the picture, and it is nice looking. Watch band is wide and little bit thick (around 4mm thick). Also the watch is little bit heavy for me. Dial window is not flat but convex. It is simple and classical watch. So far I'm satisfied with it.

This is the perfect watch for anyone looking for classic styling. The quality of finish is so obvious from the moment you open the box. What a perfect gift for anyone looking to make an impression. The thing I like most about this timepiece is that the contrast is so vivid between the black face and the silver bracelet. Also, the numerals are so easy to view. You'll get lots of compliments wearing the watch for dress up or casual occasions. Nothing cheap looking at all about this watch. I'm very glad I made the purchase.

As with most of the Swiss Army brand products, I am most pleased. It measured up in everyway to my expectations.
