The Swiss Army SwissChamp SOS Set Pocket Knife features the SwissChamp compact knife with a selection of 14 useful tools and variety of other handy products. Precision crafted in Switzerland, the SwissChamp is constructed with an acid-resistant plastic and aluminum handle, and 100-percent stainless-steel components that will hold their edge and last for years. The SwissChamp is lightweight and measures 3.5 inches when closed.
This Swiss Army knife features; large and small blades, can and bottle openers, small and large screwdrivers, Phillips screwdriver, fine and mini screwdrivers, scissors, wire stripper, wire cutter, pliers, wood saw, fish scaler with hook disgorger and ruler, metal saw with metal file and nail file, magnifying glass, reamer with sewing eye, corkscrew, hook, wood chisel, ball point pen, and straight pin. Tweezers and a toothpick pull out of the ends of the knife and it is even equipped with a handy key ring. As with all Swiss Army knives, the SwissChamp Knife comes with a lifetime warranty.
In addition to the SwissChamp knife, this SOS set includes a variety of outdoor/survival products such as a sharpening stone, pressure pencil, writing paper, three bandage strips, black and white sewing thread, two sewing needles, five matches, two safety pins, nylon string, signal mirror, ruler, compass, and spirit level. I have owned this knife for several years now and love it. I have 4 boys and it comes in very handy for those scout trips! It's nice to have everything right there on your belt. I have used the bandages, flashlight, compass, safety pins, and the sewing kit many times. When we take the wife and daughters camping/ backpacking it always comes with me. I even keep it in with my personal items at work. I can't tell you how many pairs of glasses i have fixed for the kids at my school with the smallest screwdriver! I find it much better quality than those little eyeglass kits you get in the drug store. I have opened up computer cases for repairs, I have made new holes for my kids in their belts, the jobs that it has come in handy for goes on. I really like having the needle, magnifying glass and tweezers for getting out slivers too. I even replaced the band aids with some that had been treated with silver so that I didn't have to carry antibiotic around with me. In short I love this set!
Draw backs- These are a little ticky but... 1- flashlight could be better if it was a brighter led (mine is a normal bulb light.) 2- sometimes I need a little larger pliers to get a good grip. 3- Weight. It's not bad, I know I don't mind it, but I'm sure it could be more than some want to carry. high points 1- I have always loved little things that could get the job done well and yet be packed away neatly. I enjoy being able to have what my family needs right there all the time. (Though I did sneak in a pair of fingernail clippers too.) 2- the quality is unsurpassed, in my mind Victorinox makes one of the best knives out there. (I own 5, and it's what I give my kids when they start scouts.) 3- It's so nice not to go hunting for tools or have to carry around a big kit. (I have managed to repair gates, prune trees, and repair kids jewelry with it while I was out.) Now that it's under $100, It's starting to get to be a much better bargain too!

Knife and pouch as perfect as any Vitorinox, this is my sixth Vitorinox in 30 years.
Sadly there is only red available with the SOS pounch. Vitorinox or any dealer should offer in more colors.

As soon as I opened the box I fell in love with the Swiss Champ SOS. The leather case is top quality and the knife is the same. I carry it with me everyday and it's a life saver. If you are thinking about whether this knife set is worth getting or not just purchase it. You will not be disappointed.
