I was moments away from purchasing this but decided to call local knife ship for any details and found out the clock wasnt waterproof. So seeing as i am in my school cadets experiencing rain, lake and mud i really needed a sturdy tool that i wouldnt be afraid to get wet. but with thorough research this was probably best tool for your average user who doesnt want the classic red handles. so good size, colour, design, tools but not waterproof.

This knife is same as the Climber with a pen and clock in the side. The climber is significantly less expensive and the clock will likely not last as long as the knife. (If my climber going on 20+ years is any indication). Victorinox is my favorite of the two official swiss army knife manufacturers, (The other is Wagner) but this knife is not.

The scales/handles seem decidedly gray, rather than black. Pen has nice length. Battery hidden under plastic liner. Even found a nice thin layer of oil of some tools! :~)) At the outer limit re carrying in front pants pocket .... unless work jeans.

I agree with the other reviewer that this is similar to the Climber, but this has a better look. It's just nicer. The pen is great for work. Very handy...I've found myself using it at bizarre times when I am searching for the pen. In terms of the clock,...mine is going on 7 months with no forseeable problems.

This still works after 6 years! The battery has not been replaced and I've used this very frequently over the years. This is a very good product with many uses. The blade and other instruments are still very sharp, intact, and functional. I would buy this again once mine breaks...which I don't think will happen soon.

Bought this watch about ten years ago. Use it every single day and the watch works great! I'm on the road a lot and use the tools pretty often, and i can't stress how handy that little clock is!! I've replaced the battery 2 times and that's all. Great knife.

I purchased this for my boyfriend and he says it is the one of the greatest knives he has ever had. The alarm is nice, but volume could be a bit higher. The straight pin, the pen and the eyeglass screwdriver have all come in handy unexpectedly. He definitely recommends this knife.

Even though the clock isn't waterproof I still find this feature to be very useful. I work long hours and generally take a nap during my lunch, and its nice to have this little folder to wake me up when my hour is over. My only complaint is that the alarm only beeps for about 20-30 seconds. I would prefer it continue to beep until turned off, but it is still able to wake me up.

The other functions of the knife pretty much speak for themselves. The screwdriver in the cork is a nice touch, though.
