There are multiple "extras" I like to have on my keychain: USB storage, LED flashlight, multi-tool, etc. In the past, I resorted to buying these items individually. While this worked, it tended to clutter my keychain. The SwissFlash is genius; it places these items into a single convenient package. The tools include a quality steel knife, scissors, and a nail file/screwdriver. USB flash drive comes clean (no pre-installed software to hassle with). I confirmed it works on my apple keyboard's USB ports (my last usb stick did not as it required more power). The white LED light is among brightest I've had on my keychain. There's even a small slide-out ball point pen. Both the ink and battery can be replaced. The whole thing fits together nicely and has a quality, polished look and feel. It's also rather small and goes well on a keychain. Great product, kudos to those at Victorinox.

I could not be more pleased with my Victorinox Swissflash. The combination Swiss Army knife and flash drive comes in handy when having to dispatch an enemy assailant while downloading a Power Point presentation. The scissors are useful in cutting the sleeves off my button down to fashion into a head band or turnicut. There is a built in flash light that has aided me in navigating through an enemy's fortress in the dark as well as helping me to find a paper clip in the back of my desk drawer. The 4 gig memory allows me to store pictures, mp3s, secret enemy files. Finally the Swissflash is small enough to conceal anyway and doubles as a keychain so you can take it anywhere.

I don't like lots of stuff in my pockets and I am quite picky about carrying useless items, but this tool has secured a place for a long time!

I like the features of this multi-tool. Part tech and part common sense. I have already used it numerous times. The flashlight is a really nice feature and it's quite bright too.

I wish the memory was a little cheaper since market prices for memory sticks are very affordable.

A great update of an older model that I also have. The flash drive is faster and has a switch for added protection of your files against accidental deletion.

For the premium that I paid for this item, I would have expected a far longer life than 4 months. I use my flash constantly and rely on it heavily, so I was thrilled that Victorinox was released a tool that would help me digitally as well as other tasks that demand the tools this device promised. But my flash suddenly says that its ready only which has rendered it hopelessly useless. I searched Amazon for a way that I could contact the seller directly-- and no provision was made. Potential buyers beware.

This style of Victorinox pocketknife is slightly larger (it seems about 50% thicker) than the "traditional" small pocketknife. This is to accommodate the addition of the flash drive. I purchased these as groomsman gifts for the guys. The knives have all of essentials for today's crowd and at a month later I am still hearing about how often the knife gets used and how handy it is to have in your pocket. The one downside to this product is the difference in price between the different capacity flash drives. These days you can go down to Walmart or Best Buy and relatively inexpensively purchase flash drives compared to this. On the other hand, having this complete package more than justifies the hike in cost. Victorinox, as always, creates a high quality product and this was no exception, right out of the box they are very sharp (hint, don't try to "test" the blade with your finger, one of the guys found out the hard way) and the knife feels solid. It will be interesting to see how long the ink in the pen will last (if it gets used at all) because it is hard to see in the picture, but the ink does not run the length of the knife.

I have purchased 5 of these in the last year, two for myself, and three I gave as gifts. This flash drive/mini tool is something I use everyday. As a flash drive it is reliable and quick, the mini tools, especially the flash light, have come in handy countless times. Big thumbs up. There is a password/fingerprint protected version out there, or coming soon. I plan on upgrading when I can find it.

I purchased this as an anniversary gift to replace the one my husband already had. He had the exact same one except the memory on the old one was 512MB. He was OH SO EXCITED when he received a 16GB memory stick with the same accessories. He tells me when I write this review I should give it, "A big thumbs up!"

I have the original 2 GB Swissflash and just needed more space; so, I bought the 16 GB model. I have found this useful as both a knife and a travel drive. I especially like the scissors, pen, and flashlight features. They have come in handy many times. And, of course, because it is a Victorinox, the quality is outstanding.

This baby has the essentials. Ball point pen, light, knife, a thumb drive, and a few other items. It's small and easy to carry. I bought several similar swiss knives with thumb drives, lights, and pens for xmas presents this year. All worked flawlessly.

Quality control at this manufacturer is superb.

All guys should have one with them 24/7.
