Inexpensive? Negative. The SwissFlash is certainly more $$$ than other thumb drives with the same capacity. But I will say that this drive has two things above the competition: durability and style. While I don't always care so much about the latter, especially when it comes to something utilitarian like a thumb drive, there is a simple elegance to the Victorinox design that one normally doesn't see with this type of product. But more importantly, I don't worry about carrying it around on my keychain or in my pocket all day. The drive has a reasonably strong shell around it that keeps the electronics safely tucked out of harm's way. I'm sure some of the finish will wear off with time, but the overall construction seems solid to me.

This model does not have the knife, scissors, laser, or LED light. It's just the bare-bones drive, which is exactly what I wanted. I carry a small knife and/or multi-tool with me every day, along with a single AAA-cell flashlight, so these features were unnecessary for my purposes. I just wanted a fairly rugged drive to carry along everywhere. While somewhat expensive, the SwissFlash is a good choice in my opinion.

This item does not include a light or a pen. The description and the name of the item itself are both misleading and outright wrong.

* The product description indicates you need to purchase the Flight model for the pen and light.

* This product's title declares that this item is indeed the Flight model.

I am hopeful that Amazon can update the product name and description before others make purchases... I now have to go through returning this product.

The prose description of this goes on about the bright led light, but don't be fooled by that, read the specs carefully. You are getting a USB jump drive only that just happens to be a Victorinox. There is not a knife, light, etc. Fortunately all I really wanted was the 1 GB memory chip to put in another knife that already has the light, scissors, pen, etc. That's exactly all there is...thanks for the memory (that I now have a spare empty case for if I ever need it)!

Works well looks great and saves what you need in data for future reference , the coming thing, if not now .
