This book has something for every event in a garden. Planting, designing, what to grow and how to grow it. It is one of the most useful gardening books that I have on my shelf and use it often. In the winter its great to read and work out any previous season problems and plan for the new year.

The Victory Garden will help teach anyone how to be sucessful in a new garden or help seasoned gardeners find new ways to do improve their established projects.
The first volume in this book is dedicated to master gardeners and their specialty (including roses, peppers and dwarf confiers - to name a few). Each chapter wraps up with how to apply their techniques at home - very helpful!
The second volume is all about the roots of The Victory Garden - vegitables! Well, not just veggies, but how to "grow" your soil, build gardening aids and a very helpful comprehensive month-by-month guide for the entire growing season - from April through ThanksGiving.
The third volume reviews landscaping function, style and detailed how-to instructions. It covers elements of design specific enough to deal with unique situation and general enough to apply anywhere.
The entire book is well written and easy to just sit and read (from cover to cover like I did the first time) or to pull out to reference when you need to. Without reservation I highly recommend this book anyone who is or wants to be out in the garden!

The Victory Garden Book is not only a great book...content wise, but in very good condition as stated by the seller. Came in a timely manner as well. Couldn't be more pleased. I would recommend this book for anyone who would like to learn more about gardening. It's 3 books in one. Very detailed.
