5.0 out of 5 stars EXCELLENT!
I have Tye Tribbetts first CD and have been a fan eversince. Tye is annointed and continues to bring it for the Kingdom. My favorite songs are the classic " Bless the Lord", & others are " 1-2 Victory Check", "VICTORY!","Hallejuah to Your Name", "Everything Will Be Alright", " I want it all it back". He is very unique and has an interesting way he goes about the songs...

3.0 out of 5 stars Expected more.
When I saw the new album out I was excited based on the first release. After listening to it I wasn't all that pleased. I am pretty sure it is a good album to some, but after Tye Tribbett first album I had high expectations. This album is not as good as his first one.

Most people that I tell about Tye Tribbet, they always say " Is that that singer that jumps all over the place dancing?" and I reply that as long as hes jumpin' for JESUS, thats all that matters! I'd rather him jump for JESUS, than all the other stuff going on nowadays! This CD is definitely one that you need to get... NOW! This CD will bless you in many ways than one. Remember, you got the VICTORY...and can't no DEVIL in HELL stop YOU!

5.0 out of 5 stars WHOA!!!!!! THIS IS WHAT IM TALKIN ABOUT, May 26, 2006
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
I just bought this CD today and i have to say that this album is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! This Album will have you bopping your head the entire time. Standout tracks would be. I WANT IT ALL BACK, VICTORY, sinking, ga hymn, and no other choice. On this one tye tribbett did more of a comtemporary church thing. This one is not as secular as his first one(which was just as good by the way). This album is great from beginnin got end. if one doesnt like this one then apparently they just dont like christian music.

4.0 out of 5 stars Creative!!!, May 24, 2006

One of the reasons I love Tye is because of his tremendous talent (All praise be unto God, who is the giver of gifts). I believe his music speaks to the now generation as well as the generation to come! I was there at the recording so I could not wait for this project to be released!!! His music really ministers to me personally, I love the lyrics to his songs because he talks about the things that young people are going through. I love his band (they are the bomb, OKAY) and his group can really sing. I think he is in a class of his own. This album is completely different from the last, but just as good. I've been listening to this album as I walk to and from work (2 hours total), I tell you, it makes you so ready to fight back at the enemy. He has Praise songs that make me cry. I'm telling you this album, really truely ministers. I had to say that twice because in my personal opinion, there are very few contemporary albums that really do. The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it was a live recording, but when you listen to the album you do really hear it. There were over 2000 people there that night, not counting the numerious people who could not get in due to full capacity! All the songs are great, but if I really had to choose a favorite it would be "Seated at the Right Hand of God". That song really touches my heart (yes, it makes me cry like a baby). Buy this album, it will really bless your soul!

5.0 out of 5 stars Some may not initially grasp the value of Victory Live, November 16, 2006
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
In secular music, image and music go hand in hand so perhaps gospel music too should welcome acts that don't fit an identikit churchy image. The refreshing decision not to take their photo session too seriously suggests Tye Tribbett and GA have taken a more lateral approach to the well-worn gospel choir genre. And yes! Victory Live is a 70 minute offering of Devil-stomping wrapped in confident irony, clever composition and deft musicianship sitting somewhere outside the dimensions of the gospel box.

Having featured on `Prince of Egypt' and shared stage with names including Justin Timberlake and Faith Hill, TT & GA have taken the best secular attributes and flavoured their product therewith. Each song has its own wonderful array of surprises and merits, even the more traditional ones have their TT twang, but it's the concept of TT & GA and the pointer it provides for the future for gospel music that comes out on top here and this sidesteps the trivialities of track by track comparisons. That saying, the ethereal ambient `Seated At The Right Hand Of God' is simply glorious!

Some may not initially grasp the value of Victory Live, but those wanting more from gospel music will welcome this album with open arms. It forces all to re-evaluate, yet again, through sleepless nights over drawing boards. Victory Live reminds consumers and producers alike that the genre is still maturing with much yet to be explored. Groundbreaking!

5.0 out of 5 stars Tye Tribbett Is Truly Annoited, August 13, 2006
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
You know how you hear a song and you and you wonder where this song is, who wrote it? That's what happened when I heard the song "Everything" on the Tye Tribbett Victory Live CD. I had found this CD on the Used CD Rack- somebody actually returned it because they did not like it!! Then I had to order another one once I played out the first one I purchased. When I got it-I played the CD day and night. A real blessing was seeing Tye and G.A. in concert ministering all these songs live! live! I can honestly say some songs (Alright, I Want It Back, Everything, Victory) are songs I listen to for daily inspiration and to help me give all the praise. I was going through when I bought this CD - and it helped me know that I do have the Victory - and that Everything will be Alright!!
If you are looking to enhance your Gospel Music Collection or begin it...this CD is a must.

5.0 out of 5 stars I WAS THERE!!!!, May 31, 2006
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
I was there for the live recording in Philly. I can't wait until the DVD comes out, so everyone can see what happened in that place. Even then, viewing it from your TV will not compare to the atmosphere of praise and worship. You had to be there! Kim Burrell wasn't the only guest appearance that was made. Donnie McClurkin, MaryMary, and Isaac Carrie from Men of Standard, to name a few. They all sang on "Everything will be Alright". Awesome, just Awesome!!!

To those of you who think this album was a disappointment, please open your minds. Another reviewer questioned, 'why would you want the same type of music on this CD? I agree with that question. You already had that, now it's time for a new thing! Music and especially gospel music should not be predictable. Especially with people like Tye, who are so multi-talented, diverse and not to mention crazy (in the good sense of the word). You should expect nothing less than something different and new on every album. I would get bored if every song on this CD sounded like "No Way". And believe me I loved that song. As a matter of fact that song is one of my ring tones on my phone. Now I have to get the "Victory" ring tone to go right along with it.

This CD is not a disappointment, but it's anointed.
God Bless

5.0 out of 5 stars Off the hook, April 16, 2007
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
Yet another masterpiece by Tye and G.A. This album makes you cry, laugh, smile......
It's ideal for worship and for praising God. Tye is trully anointed and if you open your heart, God can speak to you through this album. It's been a real blessing to me.

5.0 out of 5 stars NO SOPHMORE JINX HERE!, March 12, 2007
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
Once again Tribett and Greater Anointing have come with the blazing album. I like the fact that this album was done live, because they are great at ministering in the live format. They can put on a show, even though that's not what it's about! The Go Go laden title cut Victory is one of the baddest songs out gospel, secular or otherwise. The percussion is funky and ferocius and Tye is calling out every demonic stronghold that would and could keep you bound. "I Have No Other Choice" is a rock tinged ditty that is done brilliantly and isn't silly if left in someone else's hands. "Falling" is such a commentary of a song on what is going on in the church as far as the saints acting like all is okay but still steeped in sin. "Alright" features Ms. Kim Burrell and Greater Anointing does there thing with the repetetion of the song to the point where you can really believe that everything will be alright! I respect Tye because as talented as he is, he could have gone the secular route, but chooses to use what the Lord gave him for the Kingdom. This is going to make Tye a super star.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Next Level. GET THIS CD !!!!, November 21, 2006
This review is from: Victory LIVE! (Audio CD)
This Cd is a must have. The quality is what we should expect from gospel artist. I have absolutely no idea what other reviews are talking about in their, "I expected more" statements. This album was done to a new stardard in music. There isn't a secular composer out now that can hold a candle to Tye. He is gifted and that is how is should be. The church should have the best musicians, singers and composers.
He couldn't do anymore on this album. If someone tells you they didn't like this cd, I would strongly suggest not taking any advice from them EVER again.
