Amazing Book, Amazing Man., May 19, 2011
IMO, food allergies are far more common than what is generally thought, and from what I can tell, inflammation is the root cause of many conditions including atherosclerosis. It is at this point that traditional Medical Doctors and Health Practitioners differ. This book is written with an exceptional amount of experience and research behind it. While I believe traditional drug based practitioners will not like or appreciate the information, I think it very well received and valued by those who are willing to think for themselves, and look in a different direction than the corporate, pharmaceutical giants would have us look. For all their marketing, sales, research and hype, zero ground has been made in reducing the prevalence of this disease, and scant progress has been made in decreasing the seriousness. One would think if our pharmaceutical companies were doing a great job, these factors would have changed, and in fact things have gotten far worse. The US was ranked 29th world wide, for most prevalence of diabetes as of 2010, bested by such countries as: Cuba, N. Korea, Algeria, Turkey, and Mongolia just to name a few. [...]
While the statistics in this book are a bit out of date, i.e., we have slipped way, way down the ladder when comparing percentages of population with this disease world wide, it is totally forgivable as the author could not have foreseen our plunge, considering that we started in such an unfavorable position in the first place.
This is a first class book in my opinion, and absolutely worth the read. It is the price and availability of this type of material that makes Amazon such a valued resource to me.
