I had read this book as a boy and found it fascinating. The original was lost but finding this one available was terrific. Seversky's impact on the development of the American strategy of Strategic Bombardment in WWII was immense. One of the books that made a real change in history. Excellent read.

Second in a series for my 2nd Lt to be for his military education. One must understand air, sea and land conflicts. Although dated, WWII, de Seversky knows for which he speaks. I'm looking for a good book on Douhet.

Somewhat dated but a most interesting book! Take the Billy Mitchel school of AIR POWER that "THE BOMBERS WILL ALWAYS GET THROUGH" and combine it with the realities of a world war. When originally published it was somewhat of a shocker. Recommended for any student of WW II.
