I got what I expected for a used book. All pages were clean, the book looks neat. A few scratches on the edges, it could have being sold cheaper. My friend got one brand new for about three bucks more than what I paid for mine, in a Christian store in our hometown.

I gave this to a friend after I read the book- it is wonderful and very helpful to both of us. Everyone needs to read this book!

In this book rick Warren helps new christians and those who need to focus their purpose in life. With basic illustrations and an easy to read message Warren takes a new step to help people become more effective christians. Our life completly has to praise God; this means we have to do it with our actions, words and way of think.. It has a great message. The book can be read in 40 days (what is suggested) or less. A good buy!

This book i recommend it helps those of us in search of answers why are we here on earth for? For those of us who feels lost, confused or just in search of some spirituality this is the book.

Este libro lo recomiendo para esos en busca de respuestas porque estamos aqui en la tierra? Para esos que se siente solos, confundidos o nomas en busca de spiritualidad este es el libro.

I purchased this item as a gift to my mother because I enjoyed the original version in English. The Spanish version did not offer the same depth and understanding as the English version. There was to much music at the beginning, which distracts from the teachings. The reader was very dramatic, it almost felt like those Christian churches in Spanish that I dread to go to because it doesn't feel true. However, since I heard it first in English, I was able to grasp and understand a Purpose Driven Life. Rick Warren should make sure that the Spanish translator is really translating his message in the correct way.

I did the 40 day program with my pastor and two others. While we found nothing really wrong with this book, we found little to recommend.

As other reviewers have said there are several "problems". The use of several versions of the bible certainly seems to be an attempt to make everything say just what the author wants it to say. The use of "the bible says" or "the scriptures say" without showing where it is actually written is very disturbing. And the "hawking" of Warren's other books is just plain materialistic.

In short, if a person wants to be told what to do and how to think then this book is for them but if they want a book to help them understand Life and how to use their own brain to "live right", then this is not the book.

Este libro es una bendicion, es una enseñansa para cada uno de nosotros, especialmente nos enseña a como llevar la comunion con nuestros projimos, por ende como amar a Dios.

Este es Un excelente libro que puede contribuir muchisimo a la vida de cualquiera. Es muy motivador y sirve para aprender a lidiar con las situaciones mas comunes de la vida.

Simply written but yet very insightful. A great book to give away as a gift to someone in need for answers or searching for some guidance.
