I had another Vidal Sassoon travel hair dryer that was awesome and it died. So, I purchased this one. Even though my other one was also 1875W, it seemed to dry my thick long hair twice as fast. This is a okay little dryer, but I think I will try to locate the same one I had before.

While not the tiniest of travel dryers, the trade-off is that it packs sufficient power to do a good job. I would recommend it to a friend.

Traveling in my work I experience many levels of accommodations and most often hotel hair dryers leave much to be desired. So, my search of Amazon was to locate the best (most portable) hair dryer with a "cold" setting. The Vidal Sasson VS768 fits the bill and works well.

This dryer doesn't have much power, even on high. I bought it because mine had finally died. I didn't want to drive to the store, and it was cheap and available through Amazon Prime. I had it in my hands in two days with no hassle. But, you get what you pay for. This is cheap, but since I use mine mostly to dry my bangs only, it will suffice. It has a nice compact design. Overall - if you have long hair and need a good dryer, this is not it. If you just need an extra for traveling, or have very short hair this is pretty good if you can get it for about $15. If not, others dryers with a comparable price are much better.

I purchased this to keep at the cottage to use when I am there. I have had it for a year and it does what I want it to. I wanted something small to not take up too much room, but reliable so I could dry my hair if I wanted to. The price was right, it's powerful enough for its size, and it folds up nicely when I'm not using it. very happy.
