I liked the dryer, it did seem suited to my fine hair. However, I bought this dryer to replace a blow dryer that had lasted 8 years or longer, and this one died after just 3 months. It's possible I got a lemon, but I figure if it's a problem with the product then people will post reviews here and future purchasers will see a trend. Hopefully it's just mine!

Yup, mine quit working also after having it for less than a year. Apparently its motor burns out after very short drying times as my hair dries really fast and I don't use high heat.

I bought this with the hope of giving a little body to my fine hair. It does work great but i don't necessarily notice a difference as far as "thickening" or "volumizing" my hair.

If you have fine hair like mine, don't expect miracles in volume. It does dry your hair faster than the others,though.

My curls look great! With dryers past, I've struggled with frizz and dryness, so I let my hair air dry for years. Now that I have a daughter, I don't always have the time to wait for my thick hair to dry, so I gave this dryer a whirl. I haven't had any problems with frizz or dryness; couldn't be happier with it.

I used this hair dryer exactly twice and it worked fine, so I threw away all my return stuff. Now it won't get hot no matter what I do. Read all the instructions snd followed them step by step and no soap. I will never buy anything electrical from Amazon again and certainly will never buy another Vidal Sassoon.

I LOVE this hair dryer. The heating element in my old one went kaput and I found myself at Target trying to pick out a new one. By sheer luck, this one came home with me and I am so amazed. It makes such an incredible difference, I just had to seek it out online and share my review.

I figured a hair dryer is a hair dryer, but not so. This one dries faster than any I've ever used before, my hair has more lift and is sleeker and smoother. So much so that I can now skip the flatiron on most days. I could never get my hair to look as good as the salon and now I get why. The dryer makes all the difference.

FYI - I have a lot of very fine hair with a medium natural wave that I blow straight pretty much every day. Styling time has easily dropped by half with this dryer.
