Rewritten Wakeboarding DVD

I'm new to wakeboarding. As a snowboarder, however, I'm no stranger to riding films. As far as team videos go, this is right up there. I almost gave it 5 stars, but with little exposure to other wake vids, I felt it wouldn't be fair.

The beginning sequence is excellent. And from there they take the viewer to each team-members house, and that's where they all ride for that segment. There is lots of rails and wake skating, which is pretty fun to watch. Each rider gets a good amount of footage at each spot, so it stays pretty consistent in that regard, but the new features at each spot keeps it fresh.

I think skate and snow films have been around much longer, so while wake is new to me, the film making felt very familiar. There isn't anything new here (except for the first sequence, and the closing stunt, which I will not spoil for anyone, just watch the movie), but it's done using tried and true methods, so I doubt any rider who's a fan of riding DVDs will be disappointed with this one.

Soundtrack is decent. I prefer rap music when I ride, but for watching, I think I like the mellow rock/melodic sound just as much. Sometimes I'll just have films like this going in the background while I'm doing stuff around the house.
