5.0 out of 5 stars A must for a Dep Lep fan, but don't let the title fool you!, December 8, 1999

This review is from: Video Archive [VHS] (VHS Tape)
The title "Video Archive" to me meant that this tape was going to be a compilation of all of the Def Leppard videos from 1979 to 1995, but that is not the case. This is a video including some miscellaneous interviews throughout, live performaces, actual videos from 1993 through 1995, and an accoustic performance. The first hour or so is concert footage from Don Valley Stadium in Sheffield, England in 1993. It is great footage (much better than In The Round - In Your Face) which includes performances of Lets Get Rocked, Foolin', Rocket, Two Steps Behind, Armageddon It, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Rock Of Ages, and Love Bites. Then they show promotional videos of When Love & Hate Collide, Two Steps Behind, Action, Miss You In A Heartbeat, and an 8 minute Epic version of When Love & Hate Collide. Lastly is footage of an accoustic performance in a Sheffield club (1995) that is great! The songs include Two Steps Behind, Armageddon It, When Love & Hate Collide, Animal, Pour Some Sugar On Me, and a great cover of Ziggy Stardust. All in all it is a video worth watching and having for any die hard Def Leppard fan. Enjoy!

5.0 out of 5 stars wow! glad I've got this one!, February 2, 2000

This is definately a must for Def Leppard fans. I just got my copy and love it. It's really comprehensive, with great live performances. The one in Sheffield is fantastic as is the comfy acoustic performance in the club they started out in. The produced videos were great because they were rarely if ever shown in the states. Just a great video for any Def Leppard fan to have.

5.0 out of 5 stars This Video Rocks!, April 16, 2001
This review is from: Video Archive [VHS] (VHS Tape)
One really can't put words to this....the stage set from Sheffield (their home town) England is phenomenal...especially Rocket...it has a little treat in the middle. The Videos were nice, letting fans see stuff that wasn't major release videos ie..Love Bites...and other major hits. And finally, the acoustic set was nice....and at the time I bought it, a nice lead in for their VH-1 Storytellers special. I recommend this to any Leppard fan..

There could never be a better rock group than Def Leppard. From the first song to the last video. Any Leppard fan can understand and appreciate the music, the work they put into being the most successful rock group of the 80's and 90's and the love they have shown to all their fans. I am a die-hard Def Leppard fan and would recommend any of their products to anyone who asked. I can't rate a song or video as better than another from them. They do outstanding music and videos. Don't just buy one- buy them all.

5.0 out of 5 stars Def Leppard Video Archive review, August 31, 2003
By A Customer

This is an excellent collection of DefLeppard tunes. Clearly shows why they are still so popular. They got the skills and it shows. Their music is real not computerized and the jam at the end is priceless. 5 songs sung in a pub where they started with just accustic guitars and their voices. Love it Kathy

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, August 12, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Video Archive [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I bought this mainly because I have never seen Def Leppard in concert. I really liked it for the following reasons: The concert footage is great, and seeing the literal sea of fans in Sheffield's Don Valley stadium was incredible. The video's were a nice segue into the unplugged set at some pub. That was a treat in itself because you get to see the band up close, and their talent just shines. Loved it.
