Editorial Reviews

From School Library Journal

Gr 4-8-These books give kids the knowledge they need to get a leg up on these careers. Each one details the variety of job descriptions and headings that fall under the broader category. They also discuss the education and other skills and experiences that are helpful to enter and advance in these fields. With their bright photos and adequate use of white space, these volumes will appeal even to reluctant readers. The pictures show a good mix of genders and ethnicities. The writing is friendly, but not too chatty. The authors give examples of current games and software, which hopefully will not become too outdated in the near future.-Yapha Nussbaum Mason, Brentwood Lower School, Los Angeles

5.0 out of 5 stars ! Great Buy!, August 1, 2000
This review is from: Video Game Designer (Coolcareers.Com) (School & Library Binding)
This is a great deal for a book. I have read it and it helped me alot. If your saying... ooohhh, he's just a kid he doesn't know what he's talking about... you would look stupid when I'm talking about the seven computer codes that "I" know. It could really help you wanna be game designers.
