Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

The beauty of Pipex is its simple, modular design. The system is built through the connection of three different types of pipes: T-joints, 90-degree elbow pieces, and 18-inch straight pipes. The system also has circular pieces that can be used as tops for storing electronics or accessories or as a base for the system.

If you've ever used LEGOs or any other building-block toys, you'll surely be able to construct a Pipex storage system to fit your needs. And because it's modular, you'll be able to expand your system as your media collection grows by simply adding new pieces. The pipes have a modernist metallic finish, and each is slotted to accommodate CD-case media (PlayStation and Dreamcast games) and DVD-case media (PS2, Xbox, and GameCube games), so you can store music, movies, and most video games in any arrangement.

With this 90 + 18 set, you can hold 47 CD cases or 28 DVD cases. The T + 18 set holds 60 CD cases or 30 DVD cases--or even a combination like 30 CD cases and 15 DVD cases. The X-Post holds 28 CD cases or 12 DVD cases.

Combining them, of course, is how you build the system that's right for you. For example, by connecting one X-Post to the T-joints of two T + 18 sets, you could build a media storage goalpost-shaped system that would hold 148 CD cases, 72 DVD cases, or a combination in between.
