Please start out by giving a brief summary of what you do with respect to helping executives understand product liability issues for new products, as if you were explaining to a new client what you could do on their behalf.
In this process, what areas do you add the most value for a client? What areas are you most focused on when trying to help them make sure they pursue the best course of action possible?
If you had 5 minutes to explain to a company the essentials behind ensuring a successful product launch with respect to product liability, how would you articulate it?
How would you break it into 5-7 steps to help a company understand what needs they need to assess in terms of risk with a new product and liability?
How would you articulate your personal negotiation strategy in the event of a product liability conflict?
What do you see as your role on behalf of your client in negotiations in such a conflict?
What are the 2-3 items most often negotiated when discussing product liability matters?
Do you handle negotiations with respect to a settlement between your client and the opposing party any different?
What types of cases within product liability law most often result in settlements?
What are the most significant product liability laws affect companies?
What is the essential homework every company must do before releasing a new product in the marketplace?
What steps do you recommend your clients taking so that they do not get into trouble with respect to product liability?
How do you explain the financial exposure to your client in a situation such as this?
