PAL to Ntsc Tv Video Game System Converter
when I was looking the internet for a PAL to NTSC converter, I read some technical info trying to educate myself before I bought. Comparing multiple products in the market, I found this one that promised to do the job and I even look for their tech info trying to find a contradiction somewhere as i was comparing this product of ~$40 with another of ~$140... so, obvious savings right!... I was wrong... from all tech specs they "forget" to give you just ONE that it is written all over the packing box... too late... "This converter output will only work with 50HZ NTSC TV video system" in other words, it only does HALF the work of the PAL to NTSC convertion... there are NO 50HZ TV in USA that I know of... so at the end you will still have an image scrolling vertically and just got some color on it. Total Waste of my Money.

You can watch your TV in full colour with this device, but it lowers the image quality and Only works if you input a PAL signal into your TV and you can get a normal black & white screen (the picture is not scrolling up or down). Otherwise you need to buy the Digital Convertor.

I bought this converter fo my hdtv.
Only gives color but doesn't convert hz.
Says it only works on 50hz tv,i have not seen any NTSC tv's that are 50hz only 60hz.
Do yourself a favour and buy the Atlona AT Line EX,or any converter fron Atlona.

I had a PAL VCR I got from Australia, and I ran a PAL tape in it and thru this device and the output to my NTSC VCR and then into my NTSC TV. I got a clear picture (decent quality and ok sound) but it scrolled vertically NON-STOP. Now if I removed this device and hooked my PAL VCR directly into my NTSC VCR what happened was I got a clear B&W picture & sound and again a NON-STOP vertically signal. So this device EFFECTIVELY converted the B&W signal into a color signal but was unable to remove the vertical scrolling which is a common problem going from PAL -> NTSC. So the device essentially is useless.

It was very bad decision that I purchased this converter. it was not functional at all .

i bought this piece of .... thinking in play my ps2 in my ntsc tv here in America, but what a surprise .... it doesn't work as i hope, it just add color but the image keep scrolling down. So don't buy this, it's a cheat, Shame on you Amazon!!

Has some quality issues but atleast it gives color from pal to ntsc, for product this cheap, its ok.

This product is misleading. If you have a HD TV then it will not work. It works only on 50Hz TV. In other words the old TV your Granny has....

i used it on SONY KVL2500 40inch TV for my PS2 PAL games. the graphic is just bad...i think it might look better on standard TV...

its not working ok withe full hd tvs.
