I bought this mount due to very limiting space in my bedroom to mount a tv. I needed one with a lot of movement, and the ability to pull far from the wall, this way it could be mounted in a corner. This did the job perfectly. The mount had plenty of holes for the mounting bolts, which helped out with the studs on that section of my wall not being standard distance apart.

The instructions were absolutely terrible for this thing. They were not needed for me, but I can see where it would be a problem for many other people. Its a bit unwieldy securing it, so if you are weak, don't install it alone. The tools you will need are: Drill and bits (pilot holes into the studs), nut driver or rachet, level, stud sensor, and screwdrivers.

All in all, an excellent product. Took me about 30 minutes from receiving the box to mounting it on the wall, but expect it to take upwards of an hour and a half. It holds up my 46" with ease, and allows me to swivel the TV easily.

As most of the other reviews claim, this is a good value. It's easy to install, but the instructions are confusing as heck, maybe worse than none at all.

Hanging the part that goes on the wall is easy, make sure it's level and screw it securely to the studs - 16" maximum, so forget this one if you have 24" studs.

The part that mounts to the TV is a little more complex, especially if you try to follow the instructions. I just laid it out on the bed and started assembling and it became obvious. Lots of extra screws and washers to accommodate different tv's. Set them aside, there really aren't many required to put the unit together.

Once it's loosely assembled, attach to the TV with 4 screws (this is where all those extra's come in - choosing the right size screw for your tv). Then center everything by sliding the rails and brackets, tighten and hang the whole thing to the wall. It's good to have a helper when lifting the tv up.

Figure about an hour if you have tools and a helper available.

About all you could do wrong is attach a piece upside down, and if you did, you couldn't hang the tv, so it wouldn't be a real problem or slow you down more than a couple minutes while you fix it.

Definitely a strong unit; for that alone I would recommend it. But it looks fine, and the price is right.

I was also hesitant to buy this because of price but saw all the good reviews, so took the plunge! I had professional installers put this up and they said it was just as good as the ones they get for $300. It's been up about a month and works great! I highly recommend!

This mount is great and is holding my 58" Panasonic Plasma 3D TV without any problems. I can extend this mount all the way out and my TV is still very sturdy. Another great thing about this mount that they don't mention is that behind the head that connects to the TV are three screws. The two screws at the bottom have slotted holes in them that you can use to adjust the level of the TV incase the mount is not perfectly level. This is a wonderful thing to have and I love this mount. Totally worth the money.

Excellent mount. As you read, the instructions are lacking. It comes with tons of bolts that you won't use. It looks confusing but isn't. The only thing I should have done differently was not mount the outlet right in the center of the bracket. I was remodeling the room and printed out a template of the bracket. So, when the walls were bare, I framed out for the bracket and I knew exactly where the bolts were going to hit and where the outlet would be. The problem is, I have quite a few wires coming out of the wall and it stops the bracket from going completely flat against the wall. I probably could have mounted the box and wire harness under the bracket, because the tv still covers it up. But, otherwise, love the bracket and the price.

I have no complaints with this mount. It is well built, sturdy and was easy to install. The only set back is the maneuverability of the mount once it is installed. Tilting is no problem but for those of you who will be angling you TV back and forth from side to side there a bit of a struggle because the extension arms are quite stiff. overall I would buy it again especially for the price.

best bang for the buck, holds my big screen nicely, you may have to snug the preassembled cantilever bolts, but thats a small price to pay considering the price on other mounts ....I really can't see why anyone had trouble with the assembely of this mount. It comes in just three pieces, and if one has trouble with this, good luck operating the TV

I was very apprehensive at first when purchasing this mount. I never thought that a mount that cost $89.99 would be able to hold my 65" Panasonic plasma. But I figured for $90, if it didn't work I'd return it and buy a more expensive mount from Best Buy or another retailer. After all, every store I visited, I was told by sales reps that I need a $500+ mount to hold a tv that size. Don't be fooled, I purchased this mount, mounted it on the wall using four simple lag botls and it worked great! Couldn't be happier with it. Don't bother wasting your money on anything from a retailer, the mounts they sell are overpriced. I would suggest going to your local hardware store and buying a few hardend lag bolts, don't use the ones it comes with as they are cheap. Other than that, the mount holds my 65" 145lbs plasma just fine. The extensions works, and I can comfortably pull my tv up to 18-20 inches off the wall without a worry.

The cantilever swing out articulating arm is well made and easily supports a 50" Plasma screen TV, for which used the arm. The pricing was excellent and significantly less than I was able to find elsewhere. My only complaint about the unit is the very poor assembly instructions which becomes compounded by the plethora of screws included with the units with no instructions on to their specific use. After spending time reviewing the unit and the poor instructions, I had to resort to trial and error on the proper screws to use for my specific installation. Other than the assembly challenges the unit functions well with a wide range of motion, fully extends out to its stated length, and does tuck in tight when in the resting position. I would heartily recommend the unit, but caution those with little patience to prepare for the almost certain frustration on the installation.

I read the reviews on this product and do to those reviews I purchased this mount and was extremely satisfied. I will say that the product is heavy, but they give you a template to mark the location on the wall. I agree with a previous review that said they had to get bigger lags. I too wanted bigger lags (3/8 dia) a good idea when your hanging something heavy in the air. I hung a 60" samsung led and it holds great even fully extended. They give you every possible combination of bolts and spacers and after a try or two I found my combo. It is well worth the money, sturdy, and other then the size of the tv's you mount on this product, easy to assemble. Attaching the tv to the mount after the mount is on the wall is safer/easier as a two man job. I completed it in two hours.
