Purchased three of them to mount some 40" LCD TV's and they work perfectly. They can articulate enough that we were able to mount it in a corner and still get plenty of movement for adjusting the screen.

I got this mount because of the way my entertainment center is set up, I needed to have some wiggle room with where to put the TV. Since my studs are 16 inches apart, a normal wall mount wouldn't work. I purchased this mount sort of blindly hoping it would meet my needs, and it definitely did.
Even though the I wasn't able to put the mount exactly where I wanted it on the wall, I was able to move the TV into the correct position because of the movable armature. It also had the added benefit of being able to pull the TV out from the wall about a foot, giving a look of depth to my entertainment center. I looked for comparable mounts at big box stores like Best Buy because I was a little reluctant to buy one of these without seeing it in person, but the cheapest I could find was around $500 for something comparable. This mount really is a good deal and a steal at the price offered. I would buy it again if I ever get a 2nd flat screen.

Was expecting a slightly flimsy mount with cheap hardware.........pleasantly surprised that it was sturdy and well built for my 40 " Sony...... A little effort is needed to adjust to the angle I wanted, but I have no intention to constantly re- adjust TV position so this worked out great for the price!!!
I plan on buying a second one for my next LCD TV
