Got everything in a timely manner. Just what I needed. Screw paying 200 plus dollars for the samsung official thing. this works great. I hung my 55' samsung with this and used toggle bolts. works great.

Did just what is was supposed to do. Samsung 55' LED, the wire was Pretty tight to get over the wall mounts, but thats a good thing! Snug against wall, and looking sweet.

The wall bracket worked very well...installation was a little tricky but not bad... you might need two people to hang the flat screen on the bracket.

Despite the fact that this mount says it is compatible with TVs up to 55 inches I got this for my Sharp LC60LE835U Quattron 60-inch TV. If you use a larger TV, make sure it is to spec of this mount: 1) less than 110 lb limit and 2) the holes fit in the right places (all this VESA 400x400 stuff they talk about). I made sure to check the specs of my TV and, when they weren't available in the Amazon description, I went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded the manual which contains all the specs I needed. Although my TV is 60 inches, it is a very slim LED TV which replaced my 55 inch old plasma that was much heavier. I bought this one because it fit the specs of what I needed and was a fraction of the cost of most others. I'm not sure why people are paying upwards of $100 for these things other than getting the guarantee of it working (i.e. you can buy one for your Samsung TV and it is branded by Samsung). After I got this, I opened the box which looked like a box of nuts and bolts and, at first, I was a bit worried about the quality of this. There really ar no moving parts and all the parts, even the "rope" is made of thick metal. The instructions aren't very thorough but installation was very easy: 1) I screwed in thick plastic parts into the back of the TV that would hold the rope, pulled the rope taut and closed the clamp on the rope and tightened it. If there is any point of weakness, it is here as I was worried the clamp would loosen and the entire TV would fall but, as it turns out, all my paranoid tightening has held this up very well. 2) I screwed in these metal discs into the wall, into studs. I made sure these discs were closer together than the things I just screwed into the back of my TV, otherwise, you can't hang the metal rope on them. The discs hold up very well and I could even pull on them roughly and I could tell they help up very well. If I overtightened, I could see a dent in the drywall but it didn't seem to matter. 3) I had someone help me lift the TV and hang it like a picture frame (this is, after all, a large TV). There is something you can swing down on the bottom discs (2 top, 2 bottom) that were screwed into the TV that allow it to stand at an angle away from the wall so you can get in there and plug in all of the cables. My TV is thicker at the base so this got in the way of the cables and couldn't lay flat against the wall until I rerouted the cables. Once I was done, I folded that up and let the TV sit flat against the wall. It looks beutiful now and I am quite pleased with the TV (which is already thing) and the mount which keeps the TV super thin. Since this sits flat against the wall, don't get this if you need to angle your tv (i.e. downwards) as the other mount types will do.

I have 2 Samsung LED TVs. I purchased the original Samsung slim mount (which this universal mount is designed after) for my 55". It works great and looks sleek on the wall. I purchased the same mount for my 32" LED but it wouldn't work. I could see the cable was too long and it isn't adjustable. I read reviews about how people made the mount work by hanging it with the lower vesa holes but they state that this makes the TV tilt forward slightly. I returned the Samsung mount and purchased this one. It is not as impressive looking as the Samsung but who cares? Once the TV is on the wall, you can't see the mount at all. I would have given this product 5 stars except for 2 issues. One is the documentation. The print is extremely small and the instructions come on 2 different pages. I had to search for the instructions on how to adjust the cable length. The other issue is that the Samsung mount did fit slightly closer to the wall because the mounting spacers/brackets for the back of the TV fit Samsung's indentions perfectly. But this is a universal mount. Once the TV is up, the slight difference would be noticeable only if you had 2 TV's hanging on the same wall with different mounts. Over all, an incredible value for the price.

This is a no frills product, but it gets the job done. I used it to mount a 50" Samsung Plasma PN50C7000 into drywall. My studs were too far apart and not exactly where I wanted the TV, so I used two toggle bolts rated at 265lbs each.

To the reviewer who claimed the wire is too long, he didn't read the, admittedly poor, instructions. The wire is incredibly long, but the kit comes with a limiter, which is used to set the wire to the precise length required.

Again, it isn't beautiful (but who is going to see it behind the TV); the instructions are poorly written (apply some commonsense), and you will probably want to use some better screws/toggle bolts for drywall mounting - but it is about one tenth the cost of functionally identical official mounting kits

I had been worried about the design since my studs are 16 inch wide, and the rope is 16 inch long. I wonder if it is long enough to hung there. I finally ordered this mount and it works great. The rope has adjustable length, so I hang the TV with no problem. My Samsung looks great on the wall now.

I bought this for my 46 inch LED TV. It delivered very fast, and I am very pleased with it. It seems very sturdy and closed to the wall. Very good product, saving a lot of money. And it is really cheap for a TV mount. TV looks awesome on the wall, like a picture.

I was too surprised to see the price of this wall mount kit. The Samsung mount costs over $200. But I really wanted to have the thinnest TV profile I could manage for our room, so I gave this a try.
This kit delivers fat. It's made of quality, machined and stamped metals, and is so simple to mount that I mounted in about 15 minutes. You figure where you want your TV, you put two hanging 'pucks' on the wall, screw a couple parts onto the back of your TV, and just hang it up! The 'pucks' can be mounted into studs, masonry, or simple drywall! All mounting materials are included, but you'll need a drill to put the holes in your wall.

I don't understand the complaints about this, it is pretty good. I have a 42" LCD Sony mounted with this mount, and no issues. It's very strong and works very well. I will be purchasing another for other room. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.
