Product Description

The slim tilt TV mount is compatible with majority of 32-47 inch LCD plasma TV and some LED TV up to 55 inch (Samsung LG Sony Panasonic Vizio Sharp AQUOS Toshiba Westinghouse KDS Magnavox Philips Pioneer ProScan RCA Displays). Handle screen up to 66 lbs. Support all VESA mounting standards 200x100 mm up to 600x400 mm and many odd size mounting patterns (mounting holes on the rear of the TV or panel should be no more than 24" inches apart horizontally and up to 16" vertically). This mount offers forward and backward tilt to reduce glare and comfortable viewing angles. The wall plate can be mounted to two studs up to 24" apart. Convenient quick-release tabs design on both mounting brackets. How to ensure the mount is compliance with your selected display? Firstly, mounting holes distance on the rear of TV must be less than 14" (400mm) vertically and 24" (600mm) horizontally. Secondly, the weight of TV should be less than 66 lbs. Lastly, please check the dimension of your display, ensure it is wider than 28" and height more than 17", otherwise you will see the bracket. VideoSecu brand mount, please report to Amazon if you receive a mount without VideoSecu logo.

This mount is great! Got everything put together with TV and on the wall in less than an hour! Like the other review says, for about $30 bucks delivered within 2 days, this is incredible versus the retail store onces charging close to and over $100. Best Buy guy told me "good luck" making sure you get all the parts etc, if I bought a mount online - well, all the parts were there in a nice simple box & arrangement and the top bracket actually came with a leveler, even though it was a little off by a tad. All in all, this is a great buy, no need to spend over $30 for a flat screen mount. Also, if you happen to drill a slightly bigger/deeper hole before you put the lag bolt on the wall, you can easily go to Home Depot or Lowes and get a slightly bigger/longer lag bolt that will work just fine - like I happened to do - no big deal though. Bottom line: It works. But there are a few things that could be improved. I have a different wall mount for a larger panel TV and it is significantly more sturdy than this one. Once this is on the wall and adjusted it works just fine but doesn't seem to be built to withstand much movement or adjustment after the initial install. I did not use the built in level but did look at the reading once the mounting plate was on the wall. The plate was level but the bubble was not centered. Had I used the bubble level on the unit, the mount would have tilted approx 1/8 inch high on the left. This was true for both units I installed. Then, once the brackets were attached to the back of the TV and connected to the mounting plate, the TV was not level! Turns out the brackets on the back of the TV don't self-center on the TV mounting holes. Other wall mounts I've used are self-centering. Lastly, the tilting friction is controlled by a bolt assembly with a handle on one side and a screw/nut assembly on the other. This is true for both brackets. I found that only tightening the side with the handle did not leave the TV feeling securely mounted and stable. After what felt like an acrobatic act to use a wrench and screwdriver to tighten the other side of the bracket, over the top of the TV, in-between the brackets, the mount felt more stable.

Overall it's a decent wall mount especially for the price. Comparing this mount to others available in store, this one was 1/3 the price and does the job probably just as well. Installation requires a bit of patience to get it right.

I bought this TV mount for my older 52" Sharp LCD. I have 3 other mounts from Cheeta but thought this one would be better because of the quick release of the straps on the bottom.
Overall, I did not like the mount due to the following reasons which I noted other users did not mention:

1) Bad design - The mount itself is split/cut in half vertically. You can't see it in the pictures because the VideoSecu cover in the middle blocks it. Due to the fact that it's cut in half as oppose to being one solid or two full horizontal pieces, it makes the backplate weak. When I put the TV on, I do notice a bit of flexing in the middle part. Because of this, you can't have the contact points close to the middle.
2) Thin backplate - I notice that the thickness of the backplate was not as sturdy as my other Cheeta mounts. The steel gauge seems thinner. I have four bolts in the backplate but had to mount it off-centered due to the position of my wall. The right edge of my backplate seems to be flexing as well as the center point (from #1).
3) Cheap metal clips - The clips that attach the strings to the TV bracket at the bottom was cheap/flimsy. It was bent as soon as I pulled them to test out the locking/unlocking mechanism. This was easily remedied by replacing the clips with some keychain rings I had laying around. I wish they had used better quality so I didn't have to do this.

The TV bracket on the back was pretty nice. I like this tilting feature better than the Cheeta mount but the baseplate bracket was a deal breaker. For $20, I wasn't expecting much but I didn't think it would be this bad. I had to order another TV mount, this time another Cheeta for $27. I figure, for the extra $7, I at least know I'm getting a stronger mount.

If you have a 32-46" TV or anything light, this mount may work. Anything bigger or a heavier TV, then go with something more heavy duty.

I purchased 6 of the mounts for our church (through Amazon.com), and we are extremely happy. The units arrived early, were packed well, work like a charm and the price could not be beat. The reviews stating the "level is not accurate" are correct, but I purchased a $110 unit for my own use from Circuit City earlier in the year, and that level was even less accurate. With all mounts, use a good level. We did not use the lag bolts (mount to wall) that came with the units, so I cannot comment on those.

For a total price of about $30 bucks with shipping, I find this hard to beat, considering a similar product at a local store was over $100. All hardware I needed was included. I was pleased how solid it was and holds my 52" Samsung LCD firmly. The only negative is the handle that tightens the tilt in place. It was hard to get your fingers between the TV and the mount to snug up.
