The first edition was informative, but immature.,

The first edition of the book was informative, but also immature. This is not a fault of the book, but rather a comment on the state of the industry at the time of the first writing. It is a combination of a high level explanatory book and a product guide which quickly becomes obsolete considering how product technology changes quickly.
There is a second edition out, and this review does not comment on it. (Nor is the product listed the second edition)
