Product Description
Professional 2-6" Camera Bracket, MADE OF SOLID METAL. All parts are interchangeable and can customized into 12 different combinations! This neat little kit gives you a lot of versatility for creative indoor and outdoor mount applications, even around corners and near windows, etc.. Works with a WIDE variety of CCTV cameras and camcorders. Each set includes two 2" shafts, one 2" X-base, one 1" base extender, one 2 3/8" round base, and one head. Manufacturer part number MCB1B, black color, easy to install and adjust camera position. This mount is made of pure metal, not plastic. If you received a bracket made of plastic, please report that seller to amazon.com immediate. Such brackets do not bear the VideoSecu logo, and are knock off imitations.

amazing price, not so amazing quality. The price sounded too good to be true and it was. The ball head would not hold camera securely. Very hard to adjust in proper position, and lock in place. The mount would shift when locked, making the adjustment pointless. The ceiling clip is not correctly designed as there is no way to secure it closed except by gluing or taping it in place. Best part of it is the little 1/4-20 stud mounted on the round plate. If the ball head was better made it would have been useful.

I was looking for a mount for the baby monitor video camera and this seemed to fit the bill. It has a lot of mounting options, several extension tube lengths included, so it was easy to get the correct position for the monitor. It's made with some heavy duty metal, so it feels solid......except for the ballhead it comes with. It seems like it should work well, but it's the worst, most finicky ballhead I've ever used. Granted, it was cheap, but getting it to stay in one spot was troublesome. I should have gone with a GorillaPod or something and mounted the camera directly to the crib rail. Once you have the ballhead tightened up enough to keep everything in place, do NOT touch it, as any slight bump seems to knock the ballhead loose again.
