A full two years in the designing, the Vieluxe 56-inch stainless-steel gas grill is arguably the Rolls Royce of gas grills. In fact, after cooking with Vieluxe, you may never want to make another meal indoors again. The team of engineers who put this grill together started with the 16-gauge tubing of the frame and the patented stainless-steel cooking system, then moved to fine-tuning the details, delivering everything the most finicky grillmaster would think of, like brass precision-control temperature valves. The grill's hood, made of double-walled stainless steel, features end-cap construction for extra strength, and the stainless-steel chassis sports side panels and double-walled doors. Then there are the burners. The primary cooking system features six 12,500-Btu burners that provide even heat and flexibility. A rear-mounted 15,000-Btu infrared rotisserie burner lets you add roasting to your grilling repertoire. Throughout, Vieluxe's patented flavorizer bars eliminate flare-ups, so even the juiciest meat doesn't scorch. Patented spider screens even prevent pesky webs from affecting the grill's performance.

The stainless-steel cooking surface on the Vieluxe grill features 3/8-inch, individually removable grates that are easy to clean and incredibly durable. The rotisserie spit rod and four spit forks are also made of stainless steel and run on a heavy-duty electric motor, so your turkey or chickens heat evenly on all sides. A dual-position warming rack expands to handle vegetables or kebabs.

The grill's 20-by-25-inch side work surface slides out to expose the dual side-burner station--two burners at 14,000 Btu's apiece--where you can heat or sauté vegetables while grilling up a T-bone. When the side burner is not in use, the work surface protects it from the elements. The side-burner station also has brass-sealed construction and a porcelain-enameled cast-iron grate, which makes it both durable and very easy to clean.

Vieluxe has taken care of all the details. The continuous-spark electronic igniters are weather sealed and battery powered, so you can be sure of consistent ignition. The heavy-duty brass temperature knobs provide infinite control so you can sear, broil, roast, or slow smoke. A professional-grade thermometer is center-mounted on the grill's hood for highly accurate temperature readings. The grill's smoker system, powered by its own 8,000-Btu burner, features ported flues that disperse wood smoke evenly, creating rich flavors and tender meat.

The included tank on this model is mounted on a swing-out support system that rests out of sight in its own closeable cabinet, and a handy gauge lets you know when fuel's running low. The drip tray and catch pan are designed for quick cleanup, and the unit transports easily on 3-1/2-inch locking stainless-steel casters with rubber tires. Ask yourself one question - If you could live in the lap of luxury, would you? Well, I can - and I do. Thus, this exquisite paragon of a grill is mine for the asking. I must admit the price was perhaps a little, shall we say, over the top. That being said, $...is a small price to pay for absolute grilling perfection. Am I wrong? Robert Jackson thinks not.

When you're talking 6 SR18 stainless steel primary burners, you're talking one hell of a grill - at least in my book. With
the primary cooking surface being a robust 648 square inches, you can cook for a small, yet hungry army. The 171-square-inch warming racks expands to 361 square inches - that's simply unheard of in the grilling industry. I like grilling out veggieburgers with all the fellas while watching Arena Football -a guy thing, I suppose. With the infallible Smoker System, infrared rotisserie, and two side burners measuredd at 77 x 33 x 50 inches(measured them myself for accuracy), you simply cannot, and I stress the word cannot, go wrong. Suffice it say, this grill does the trick. And that's the 411.
