Outstanding Vietnam air war history and picture book,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Vietnam The War In The Air (Hardcover)
Contains the history of the Vietnam air war from World War II to 1975 with
a focus on the 1960s-1975. Has information on the air forces of countries such as North Vietnam, South Vietnam, France, United States, Australia, and others. Also has sections on abbreviations, project and operation code names, aircraft losses by various causes, and aircraft types of the South East Asia Wars. In my opinion, this is the best Vietnam air war book available that covers the overall air war in text and great photos. Other Vietnam air war books of interest are: Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club by the same author; Osprey Combat Aircraft series; Vietnam Air Losses by Chris Hobson; Inside Hanoi's Secret Archives by Malcolm McConnell; BAT-21; Over the Beach by Zalin Grant; Squadron/Signal Publications; ...And Kill MiGs by Lou Drendel; Schiffer Publishing; Naval Institute Press; Osprey Publishing; One Day in a Long War by Jeffrey Ethell; Sir James Martin; Tail Code by Patrick Martin. |
