This review is from: Vietnamese Economy and Its Transformation to an Open Market System (Hardcover)
For most US investors and travelers, the horror of Vietnam war is still on our mind. Wake up, this is 2006! Most Asian countries: China, Taiwan, South Korea and Japan already sold millions of merchandises in Vietnam. Yes, there are many issues: a Communist regime, North and South disparity, the low GDP per capita $2800 per year. Yet the opportunity is here. The book is a good analysis about the tranformation to an open market system. It is very useful for anyone who wishes to do business in Vietnam. It would be better if successful investments from multinational corporations (MNC) can be highlighted.
