This review is from: Vietnam's Children in a Changing World (Rutgers Series in Childhood Studies) (Paperback)
I enjoyed this book very much. It helped that there were not too many books that is up-to-date and has the on-the-ground perspective that the author has shown, with much simplicity and humanity. Even more so, you get the macro view of the mechanisms that create the cause-and-effect conditions into which Vietnam's children were dragged into, as well as the micro. I enjoyed this book tremendously, and for the practical insights that are offered or commented on here--the values of what is gleaned here are tremendous!
