This is simply priced way too expensively and should be about half as much for what it is. At the nearly $400. price range, I cannot help but feel that the company is ripping people off. Yes, it's a neat and rugged product but considering that it shoots just VGA quality videos and a $30. pen cam can do that exact same thing as this (granted, with less storage time), this product seems like a rip off. If it was priced better, I would be more positive.

We just love our Vievu PVR-PRO 2. When we went to Kauai last month I used the camera to record my husband and friends surfing. We also just used it this last 4th of July while rafting, my husband clipped it onto his ballcap and recorded and did comentary of the trip, was great. We went back to the cabin and within a few minutes had it downloaded and posted to Facebook! A great way to share fun and exciting events with your friends and family!!

I took the camera to the Oregon coast with some friends and family. I could picnic, run around on the beach, pick up my nephew and never have to stop recording. No one got nervous about being recorded because they forgot I was even wearing it.

This is a great video camera to use for patrol officers on the street. The only problem I have had with this product is the lens cover. I have only had this product for about three weeks and the flimsy plastic cover over the lens is warped and causes blurring on the side of the video. A product designed to be worn by law enforcement should be made of more robust material. I contacted customer support and I am sending the product back to them for warranty repair. I will update this review with the quality of the customer support from Vievu.
