A Tourist At The Abyss,
By Star Man (UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The View from the Abyss (Paperback)
The great Christian Writer M. Scott Peck was once accused of being a 'tourist at the abyss' by a critic, who thought him too naiive to speak with any authority about the human condition. Whether or not there was any truth in that accusation, the reader of The View From The Abyss is very likely to feel like such a tourist as he or she reads through the incredible accounts Brian Allan has written and compiled in this startling and disturbing volume.
Mr. Allan himself is no 'holy innocent'. Along with his wife and co-researcher, he has for many years descended fearlessly into the depths of strangeness and recorded with great fidelity the incredible sights he has witnessed there: poltergeist activity, hauntings, an underground ET base, a demon-haunted crystal and an apparently genuine and shocking message encoded within the Bible. Some of the case studies are as bizarre as you are ever likely to encounter, yet, reading them, I felt that this is a researcher who has taken great pains to produce a full and balanced account of these events for posterity. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour of the abyss, but more importantly, I am now convinced that the seeds of humanity's future may be found there.

Paranormal and Anomalies Research, Extraordinaire!,
By Wm. M. Mott (Southeastern USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The View from the Abyss (Paperback)
If you are interested in alternate realities and possibilities, in the possible truths behind various mysteries, in the quantum nature of the paranormal, READ THIS BOOK.
I was lucky enough to get a copy from a friend as a gift. This book is ground-breaking and insightful in the extreme, and goes far toward helping us understand what Ted Holiday called "The Goblin Universe", and Patrick Harpur calls "Daimonic Reality". This book should be right beside those on the bookshelf of every thoughtful and serious researcher. Nothing is as it seems--but this book IS a masterpiece! |
