5.0 out of 5 stars Another good one by Zig Ziglar!
SEE YOU AT THE TOP by Zig Ziglar was the first positive thinking book I ever read . . . I still remember his philosophy: "You can get anything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want."

Since then, I've read and/or heard many similar books--including just about everything else by Ziglar . . . so when I saw something new by him (A...

1.0 out of 5 stars a primitive narrow minded perspective
If there were many people who thought like Mr. Ziglar, the world would have been a lot less about freedom. We would have been judged constantly by narrow minded people for our beliefs and our way of being. I do not think this book can stimulate even a twelve year old and thank God it doesn't! We need less of these kinds lacklustre mind sets at power, not more. Here is an...

5.0 out of 5 stars Another good one by Zig Ziglar!, October 14, 2004
This review is from: A View From The Top (Audio CD)
SEE YOU AT THE TOP by Zig Ziglar was the first positive thinking book I ever read . . . I still remember his philosophy: "You can get anything you want in life if you help enough other people get what they want."

Since then, I've read and/or heard many similar books--including just about everything else by Ziglar . . . so when I saw something new by him (A VIEW FROM THE TOP, a taped production), I jumped at the opportunity to hear it . . . my only regret: that it's been too long since I last visited with Zig.

It may take you a bit of time to get used to his folksy style, but please do stick with it . . . you won't be disappointed.

He has many worthwhile ideas to share, such as:
Success is not enough. Your next step is to move to significance.

You don't have to be great to start, but you've got to start to be great.

Read wherever you are; e.g., in a doctor's office, supermarket line, etc. Always have reading material with you.

The two most important things a husband or wife can say to each other: 1. I love you; and 2. I believe in you.

If you have a dream, don't way "no way." Instead, say, "Why can't I?"

Put your heart into something; the rest will follow.

Think about what you want your obituary to say.

You'll have real joy when you see somebody that you've helped become successful.

In addition, I liked the story he told about the success of both the Penn State and Notre Dame football programs . . . the two have more graduates on pro football teams than any other
two colleges . . . they are also the only two major colleges that don't put the names of players on the back of their uniforms.

And his story of Lou Holtz really struck home . . . when Holtz was the Notre Dame coach, 11 of his assistants left to take better head coaching jobs elsewhere . . . so what was in it
for Holtz? He felt that the best coaches not already working for him would flock to do so, and they did . . . and when they came to work for him, they would bring along their respective
contacts and help Notre Dame get even better players.

5.0 out of 5 stars A motivator with substance!, November 18, 2003
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: A View From The Top (Audio CD)
This 6 CD series is packed with life changing goodies. Zig revelas openly the pitfalls and hurts of his own life in order to show how what he is teaching is real, and something he's experienced first hand. Anthony Robbins can't hold a candle to Zig Ziglar's common sense strategies to positive life-change. Without the "giant's" hype, Zig makes plain the steps one must take to achieve your dreams and goals, not just get you excited.

Zig is unashamedly Christian. Zig makes it clear what his beliefs are, and is one of the few speakers who is enlightened enough to know that the Spiritual side of life can't be ignored if we are to be truly successful in life. Some people may not like his openness. Well stop being so narrow minded and bigoted. If you can't handle someone sharing his/her faith with you, you're not going to get far in life.

Grab this series, it will change your life.

Zig Ziglar in a more relaxed style. He goes into detail about key events that have shaped his beliefs. The ultimate motivator of people is still creating great work. WARNING: Zig has strong views and a strong deep south accent BUT if you know and love Zig this is a fantastic CD set to add to your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars If ALL Pastors and Rabbi's used his Preaching Speaking StyleThey would be so many Bad Preachers Teachers, March 23, 2011
This review is from: A View From The Top (Audio CD)
Im gonna keep this short, i can't persuade to buy something that will be succesful for you, only you can do convince yourself of that. Zig Ziglar is definitely the speaker's speaker, The Pastor's Pastor, The Rabbi's Rabbi, The Motivator's Motivator. If you want to keep your same old UNSUCCESSFUL LIFE don't buy this book or audio cd. This review is for those who haven't received what they need from boring Pastors or Rabbis or Speakers, yes that's my real name INVEST your small amount of purchase and you'll receive so much in return on your investment, change your life BUY this book. This is for those who have experienced Zig Ziglar or some new to Zig who are already successfil in positive Spiritual thinking. Being Significant.
