View V-820 Womens Swim Goggle These goggles are made to fit women's faces, being smaller across the nose and catering to the smaller orbital bone, they are very easy to adjust, and the goggles fit on the face with a wider pad which significantly reduces the red marks around the eyes.
When I go to the pool, I don't see 80% men. But when I go to buy goggles, I see 80% male goggles. And the women's ones are all pink and purple! The other companies should be ashamed of themselves, catering so poorly to women. I've even seen a picture of a man on the case of a women's goggle! View, on the other hand, has put a lot of thought into these goggles. They were a great fit right from the start, and I normally look pretty bruised up after a long swim, but the View goggles left much less marking and didn't dig in. They are terrific.
Recommended for all women swimmers.

(These are also know as the View "Selene" goggle.)

I've been swimming two miles a day for the last 18 years- rain, shine, winter, summer, whatever. I only skip days for extreme situations (hurricanes, flu, etc.). I'm not an Olympic level swimmer, but I'm not a recreational swimmer, either.

These goggles are truly some of the best I've used. I've tried basically every "female" goggle on the market- Speedo, TYR, Barracuda, etc. - and none of them work as well, feel as comfortable, or last as long as these View ones do. I had been searching for years for a replacement for my old TYRs (the foam lined ones that were discontinued) and had almost given up until I tried the View. While these goggles do NOT have foam gaskets, they perform just as well and are just as comfortable.

No leaks, no fogging, even when the goggles are not super tight.

The lenses are some of the best on the market- very thick, and NO distortion (most goggle lenses are slightly "wavy" and distort the view). Even after months of abuse (including scratches) the lenses still remain clear. No horrible goggle marks on my face, either, which is a nice bonus. The water stays out, the goggles stay put, so I basically put them on and don't have to worry about them until my swim is over.

There are only two negatives to this product:
the first is that the strap does wear out a lot quicker than the goggle itself, but keep in mind that this is based on heavy-duty use in FULL Florida sunlight and exposure to chlorine. The rubber melts a bit and tends to snap off. However, this has only happened after months and months of steady use.

The other "downside" to this goggle is that it does irritate the inside of my nose during the first few days I wear a new a pair, feeling a little tight. But that pressure goes away as the gaskets mold themselves to the contours of my face. Regardless, the small pressure these goggles exert on my nose is nothing compared to the way some of goggles dig painfully into my browbone or the tender skin under it.

If you are looking for a leak-proof, comfortable, sturdy pair of goggles, give these a try. Like I said, I'm not an Olympic swimmer, but I put my goggles through a lot and expect a lot out of them. These View V-820s do not disappoint.

I bought a pair of Speedo Women's Vanquisher goggles in clear and these View goggles in clear blue. The View goggles are far more comfortable. They don't leak, and while they do fog a little, I can still see through them. And they don't leave marks on my face!

The only advantage the Vanquisher goggles have over these is that they reflect the sunlight. (I swim outside.) However, unless I'm getting a headache from the sun, I wear the View goggles because they feel so much better.

I bought these based on the great reviews above. At first they leaked, so I put the strap way way on top of my head, which stopped the leaking, but instead started to irritate the bridge of my nose. This didn't seem right, because I have such a small face and nose.

Still I thought I'd give them a chance, but I've only owned them a week and now they're fogging already. The inexpensive no-name brand goggles I bought in Turkey held out a lot longer than these. I'm returning mine in the hopes I just got a lemon pair.

LATER THAT MONTH:

I changed my original one star to 4 stars. The company sent me a new pair, which works really well. It looks like the originals were a lemon. I used the new pair for laps and they worked well, and then to Puerto Rico for some snorkeling and they were fine. No problems!

I have been doing distance swimming and have a very narrow face and these are the only goggles I found that fit and fit beautifully.
This is my second pair because I spent so much time in the first ones that the seal around the eyes was not quite as soft as when they started, so I got a new pair...liked them so much. I figured that after about 75 miles in a pool and elsewhere, needing a new pair is not a problem.

This is the best gaggles for women, period! I swim 3-4 times a week and tried different brands : Speedo, TRY. Nike, etc. All worked fine to keep water out but left me with terrible marks after for hours and even caused bruising.
I was so desperate I was dreading going swimming! Since I discovered View, I no longer have any issues: no marks, no swelling, no bruising! I am a very happy woman now: swim 3-4 miles a week and don't worry about raccoon eyes after. Thank you View for such wonderful product. Well worth every penny. Highly recommend it!!!

I've worn many different types of goggles (open-water swimmer here), and nothing has compared to my most recent purchase of the View V-820s. The eye pieces give wonderfully clear, all-around vision, the seal seals (even in rough water they don't leak), and they are comfortable. Yes, if you wear them long enough the nose piece can be a minor irritant, but I've discovered that if I place them just so on my face with a little bit of play on the nose bridge, they don't bother me at all. What a find! Thanks to the others for your reviews or I might never have tried them.

I am a triathlete who trains about 3-5 times a week in the pool or open water. Over the past 4 years, I have tried TYR, Speedo and various other brands and styles of goggle. The Views are my favorite and surprisingly hard to find. They are the most comfortable and reliable. They fit and feel comfortable on my face and I love the clarity. They are easy to secure, adjust and they do not leak. Now that I've found them here - I am ordering 3 pairs to have on hand.

As an elder and relative newbie to recreational swimming, I was astounded by the comfortable fit, foglessness (using saliva), clarity, zero leakage and nearly 180-degree field of vision with these goggles. They've introduced a level of pleasure to my swims that I never imagined with my old, ill-fitting, suctionless, dark-tinted [other brand]. These View V-820s fit my face and fulfill my needs much, much better.

These goggles are comfortable around the eyes and don't catch (too much) on my hair. They sometimes leave marks around my eyes, but the marks disappear quickly. The seal is not reliably water-tight but it usually does a good job. The lenses fog up a bit but not more than any other pair.

I am a petite woman with a petite/average-sized head. I use these goggles for non-competitive swimming.
