Like a series of still shots from The Lost World, these three-dimensional, stereoscopic View-Master photos look as though they just stomped out of real life. There are close-up shots of the gentle and gangly brontosaurus snacking on tree leaves, and high-action shots of the king dinosaur, Tyrannosaurus Rex, attacking the spiky Stegosaurus. Dinosaur babies hatch from their eggs, as (a caption explains) "The heat of the sun hatched abandoned eggs." The settings for this prehistoric slide show are equally realistic with burnt-orange and adobe-red lava lands and distant jagged mountain ranges. The three reels are organized according to categories such as flesh-eating and plant-eating dinosaurs and "Struggle for Existence." There are 21 pictures in all. --Gail Hudson

Got this reel for my four year old son. Thought it would be exciting to view all the mean JP dinosaurs. It turned out to have more slides of actors and action scenes than anything. Very disappointed.
