3D Technology Checklist

This product is 3D-related. To help you get a great 3D experience, use our checklist below to ensure that you have everything you need. If you have any questions or want to learn more about 3D, we invite you to visit 3D 101--our center for everything 3D. To get started with 3D, please ensure that you have:

		A Display The first--and most important--item you'll need is a 3D-ready display--whether it be a 3D HDTV, 3D projector, or 3D computer monitor. These displays usually have a higher processing power than older models as they need to display one image for each eye to create a 3D effect.
		A Source While your display is ready for 3D playback, you still need a device to read 3D content (i.e., a movie or a show). This source can be a cable box with a subscription to a 3D channel, a 3D Blu-ray Disc player, or a PlayStation 3.
		Content In order to watch 3D, you will need to get some 3D content. This 3D content will come from the source mentioned above in the form of a 3D program, movie, or game. Please ensure that your 3D movies are in the Blu-ray 3D format, as this new format will provide the best 3D experience.
		3D Glasses All 3D HDTVs on the market require Active Shutter glasses to create the 3D effect. You will need to buy one pair of glasses for each viewer. Also make sure that the Active Shutter glasses you buy are compatible with your display--for example, buy the glasses from the same brand as your 3D HDTV.
		HDMI Cable To connect your source (such as a 3D Blu-ray Disc player) to your display, you'll need a hgh-speed HDMI cable. Cables with this designation--with bandwidth speeds up to 10.2 Gbps (gigabits per second)--will be able to carry the 3D signal without any loss of quality.

This projector is designed for table‐top use or can be mounted on the ceiling for classrooms and meeting rooms. The top load lamp and filter‐less design provides for easy maintenance and low total cost of ownership. The extensive input options and integrated 2W speaker provide for effective presentations or classroom lessons. This projector also features closed captioning for the hearing impaired. The PJD6211 is ideal for use in both classrooms and corporate settings. Built with Brilliant Color TM technology, The PJD6211 delivers 2300 lumens with a 1024 x 768 XGA native resolution. It is future proofed for the latest technologies with 120Hz / 3D ready support and offers a variety of features such as control and closed captioning for the hearing impaired. The PJD6211 offers both Kensington security lock port and security bar for increased theft deterrence. There are 8 default picture modes (Dynamic, Cinema, Normal, Whiteboard, Blackboard and Greenboard) depending on the user application.

well, this is the first projector i've ever bought and all i have to say is WOW!! The waranty alone is enough to brag about. I got this for it's 3D capability because i plan on doing the 3D rought with my computer. ALERT!! The 3D capability on this projector is for people with a computer only not for use with a electronics store 3D blue ray player or 3D on your Ps3 or visa versa. I plan on getting the shutter glasses for this projector and trying them out here in about a month. I 'll see what kind of programs i can download to watch 3D movies on my computer to.
The screen size is big, which is what i wanted it for. I have it about 8 feet away and the size of the screen is 70 inches diagonally. If you want a projector with awesome size and great picture go with this projector. Can't wait to get the VGA component adapter to hook up the xbox 360 HD part!!

P.S. For those of you who don't know, even though this projector doesn't have a component input the VGA input will accept a Component signal WITHOUT a converter, which is cool and saves money. You just need to buy a VGA to Component cord. You can find the cord on amazon . For the best quality get the VGA HD15 to component cord they sell on here.

We use this for our youth room at church. Clear, crisp picture; easy to see, even with florescent lights on. Arrive on time & best price by far from many other places I checked. Haven't used the 3D feature yet. Would definitely recommend it to anyone!
