I have to agree with the user from Tempe, Az. You get what you pay for. Landscape shots are OK at 480 * 234 pixels.
But having to flip a picture by 90 degrees it gets very grainy where you see every pixel, especially up close.
Also the contrast and brightness is not very pleasing and the entire frame is cheap, crappy plastic that shows every fingerprint.
This is my first digital frame and I thought at $30 it's cheap enough to try.

My advise: Check them out at a store before ordering online. Make sure you are happy with the resolution and quality of how the pictures get displayed.
It's probably a good idea to invest a bit more for better quality.

Oh well, live and learn. Can't expect a Mercedes when paying the price of a Yugo.

I bought it because it was #1 among digital frames, and cost only 40% of the #2 one.

Unfortunately, its resolution at 480x234 is only 23% of the resolution of the usual 800x600 frames--and this shows when the photos are displayed.

landscape pictures of headshots are fine, but everything else comes pixillated.

Lets face it, this is not an expensive digital frame. You get what you pay for. It wors well. The resolution is not great, but acceptable. I bought it as a gift for my Mother for pics of the Grandkids. She loved it and that is all that matters. If you want a budget digital frame, this one works well. I paid $29.99 on sale here on Amazon, and feel I got a great deal.

I bought this frame as a gift to my mom. Because I am always far away from home. So I want to send a gift that can display my photo to her.

Today, I received my frame. The delivery is fast and the pakage is good. And the black frame is the same as the picture shown on the website. Most of this product is very good. But why I rate 4 star on this product. For I was still a little disappointed about the resolution of this frame. It is OK when you look at the picture from 0.5m away, but when you take a close look at picture, you will pick out the pixels. Although I don't know much about its technical feature, it is just not as good as my expectation. But considering its price, I rated this product 4 star.

I bought this for my mom as a christmas gift and well basically my mom (a 57 year old woman) can use it and understood it all the way, its so easy to use and the pic resolution is fantastic, for the price I would recommend it to anyone.

Great product

This product is absolutely horrible. I can not believe I paid almost $70.00, for this piece of garbage. The products frame is made out of plastic, and feels like a $5.00 item you would pick up from Wal-Mart or Bargain John's. The picture quality is horrendous; the pictures are blurry and hard to define. Additionally, the operation of the device leaves much to be desired. I In order to look at a photo you have to flip through all of the previous photos. That means if you have 75 photos on the device and you like number 55, you have to manually change the channel on the back of the device, flip through all of the photos on that device to find that 55th photo. Last of all the device freezes up. When you are looking for that 55th photo, you have to wait up to 3 minutes for the device to recognize that you are trying to change the photo or to switch the modes. I am extremely dissatisfied with my purchase and I know you will be to. After seeing this device and having the opportunity to handle it, I would no more pay $5.00 for it than almost $70.00.

Really people, when you advertise a product, it better have at least have some resemblance to what the promo pictures show. The quality of the image given by the frame is by any standard less the poor. The only reason that there is one star is because I can't put a quarter of a star or an eight of a star...
For anyone thinking of buying this frame, just DON'T!!

I own a different viewsonic digital frame so when this one came up on sale, I thought 'Hey great'. This one is of a cheaper quality. The resolution isn't very good but can be overlooked (it's not sooo bad) but the contrast is aweful! I would not recommend this at the full price but can see getting one if it's on sale or as an introduction to digital frames with the idea that you'll probably want to upgrade at some point.

The picture qualitywas very bad. It should have internal memory so you do not have to leave the memory card installed at all times

This frame is really easy to use with an SD card but the image quality is somewhat low. But considering the price it's definitely worth it. Some images are randomly turned sideways, even after I make sure the file is turned correctly - not sure if there's a way to fix that. I would probably spend the extra money for a higher quality frame in the future, but I don't regret this purchase.
