I have gone through 4 of these monitors in the last 4 years. The first two were replaced under warranty after burning out. After two years of use both of the replacement monitors burned out within a week apart.

I brought this monitor to replace an older one which crashed and burned. This monitor is great! I've had no problems with it at all. If your in the market for a good CRT monitor without breaking the bank, this is it.

8 years later this CRT is still working fine.

Its more light weight compared to other screens at the same size which is good.
Thats about it, everything has worked fine and performed how its supposed too.

This is the best CRT i have used anywhere. the screen is not perfect flat but then again those flat screen crt's from viewsonic had a flat glass in front of the slightly curved screen... probably for reflection of light issues when working in design or under weird light conditions.

its big and heavy but for portability theres a lot of lcd's out there.

the colors have faded only slightly in 7 years i can tell because it the brightness/contrast controls dont respond the way they used to.. still very satisfied with overall balance. the menu is all digital and easy to figure out. no one needs a review on this monitor in 2009 but hy.. i have one and this is my story.
