Built with simplicity in mind, the ViewSonic VE500 15-inch LCD monitor has uncomplicated lines and a metallic-on-black design that looks great with most computers. Its compact base folds up 90 degrees for easy wall mounting.
The AutoTune function automatically optimizes screen images, and the OSD and power button lock functions prevent accidental changes to optimized screen settings. This display also offers 1,024 x 768 native resolution, 250 nits of brightness, and a 400:1 contrast ratio.

I bought this with a computer system. It was my first flat panel and I am very happy. I have no problems with it at all..There was one issue that i thought was the monitor but turned out to be the video card...I did call viewsoncis tech support and they were helpful and there was no long wait on hold for help. A big plus!Even tho its a smaller size monitor the viewing size is excellent for me and my family.. Getting the smaller size kept the price down...

I've had a standard monitor for a few years now but for the last few months have been shopping for a good LCD flat screen at a good price. I came across this one and it had good reviews and was at a good price so I figured I'd give it a shot. Well I'm very happy I did. For the price this LCD is awesome and I'd highly recommend it to friends and family. The set up was super easy and only took about 3 minutes. Well thats it really, enjoy if you buy it, you won't be disappointed.

This seems to be a re-named model of what I have (VA520), so I'm going to throw my two cents in.I got one of these babies for Christmas last year and have loved every moment of it! The first one I got had a single dead pixel in the middle of the screen and had to be exchanged, but that's no big deal - just be sure to open a blank browser screen or something to check. Anyway, the colors are great, I can keep the monitor further away from my keyboard (easier on the eyes), the Auto Adjust feature works great but can be turned off if you don't like it (just hit one button to manually auto adjust..."manually auto"...you know what I mean). Since getting the replacement I haven't had a single problem. Everyone who comes in comments on what a hot, snazzy monitor I have now. With the quality and price of this monitor, there's no real reason not to invest in one.
