Red & Green Bell Pepper, Parsley, Celery), Corn Cereal Solids, Salt, Modified Food Starch, Monosodium Glutamate, Sugar, Natural Flavor (Hydrolyzed Corn Gluten, Partially Hydrogenated Soybean and Cottonseed Oil, Autolyzed Yeast Extract, Natural Smoke Flavor, Canola Oil, Silicon Dioxide [to Prevent Caking]), Dehydrated Chicken Meat, Spices, Turmeric, Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate.
Directions
1. Bring 36 oz (4-1/2 cups) water to a boil in a 3 qt pot. 2. Add package of dry soup mix and stir for one minute. Stir frequently to avoid possible overflow. 3. Reduce heat to Medium and cook uncovered for 12-14 minutes. Soup should bubble during cooking. Stir occasionally. 4. Remove from heat. For authentic taste, stir in 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil. Serve and enjoy! Makes 1 qt of soup.

Our version is the perfect combination of white beans, onion, green peppers, and collard greens, which contribute to this unique soup's intense flavor and satisfying heartiness.

Best you know you are buying a Northerners idea of collard soup. It is really white bean soup but tasty! It is worth buying due to the short prep time. Tastes like you simmerered the beans all day. By the time you cook the corn bread the soup is also ready to eat!High starch but good fiber source as well. Serves two very generously and definitely three, maybe four, with smaller appetites or extra sides. Did I mention tasty? Just do not expect collard soup with lots of collards.

This soup mix makes a tasty addition to any multiple course meal. It also makes a great pick me up when you have a head cold. The mix of seasonings and ingredients gives this soup a rich flavor that is better than many watered down home recipes.
