From the Viking Age, the Borre "ring braid" is a Scandinavian animal style celtic knot which is named after a boat grave in Borre, Norway. This band is 10mm wide and very sturdy. Crafted of nickel free sterling silver and marked 925.

For me, this ring is a keeper, the Celtic feel to the piece is special. Silver color is good, it's has a very comfortable fit. If you have wide fingers go up a size. It's has been on my wish list since it was $29.99. That's when I should have bought it. It's not as substancial as it looks in the picture. I was expecting a much heavier ring. At 39.99, I feel it's overpriced....
