A Rare and out of print CD which was their last due to the passing of Country Dick Montana who was larger than life and lived it to the hilt. This is a great CD which can be heard by listening to it. They were just starting to really hit their stride with this release!
A must-have for a Beat Farmers Fan!

Format: Audio CD
This is an absolutely stunning swan song for the premier roots rock band of all time, the legendary Beat Farmers, released just a year before drummer/occasional front man Country Dick Montana's tragic death three songs into a show in Whistler, British Columbia, in November 1995. Standout tracks include Joey Harris's anthem-rocker "Southern Cross" and heart-rending "Garden" and Montana's own "Lakeside Trailer Park," a classic example of the band's humorous bent. The Beat Farmers were unique in that they could segue from a rousing Joey Harris anthem to a tongue-in-cheek Country Dick tune, switching from heartfelt to hilarious in a matter of seconds. This is a great album you'll play over and over again, especially in the car.

I had been looking for this CD for some time. It arrived quickly and as described. I would gladly do business with this vendor again.
