Book Description

Tyra, Warrior Princess

She is too tall, too loud, too fierce to be a good catch. But her ailing father has decreed that her four younger sisters cannot be wed ’til Tyra consents to take a husband. Alas, with no suitors begging for her hand, it looks as if the sisters will all remain virgins.

Then a journey to save her father’s life brings Tyra face to face with Adam the Healer. A god in human form, he’s tall, muscled, perfectly proportioned. Here is the physician who could cure her father, and the lover who could finally seduce her to his bed furs.

Too bad Adam refuses to fall in with her plans. Holy Runes! What’s a lady to do but truss him up, toss him over her shoulder, and sail off into the sunset to live happily ever after.

This review is from: The Viking's Captive (Mass Market Paperback)
I loved this book! Even having read it before. This novel reminds of why I fell in love with historical romance all those years ago. Plus, I loved the changes in this new edition. Bravo, Sandra Hill! Another great read!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars My Fair Viking becomes The Viking's Captive, January 11, 2011
This review is from: The Viking's Captive (Mass Market Paperback)
If you loved Selik and Rain in The Outlaw Viking you will be very happy with the changes that Sandra Hill made in this book. This book was originally titled My Fair Viking and reissued as The Vikings Captive. Due to reader demand Sandra Hill unkills Selik and Rain. You can read more about this on Sandra Hill's website. Selik is my favorite Viking...thanks Sandra Hill :)

1.0 out of 5 stars I feel duped, December 30, 2010

This review is from: The Viking's Captive (Mass Market Paperback)
As Sandra Hills website will not let you email her there, I'm putting putting this here, as I bought it here. It's a great book, the original title is My Fair Viking. This rating is not based on the book, but on the marketing to put the same book out with a different name and cover.

I have to say that I am not happy at all with your marketing ploy of re-releasing a book with a different name and cover. I didn't even read what My Viking's Captive was about, I just clicked "pre-order" at Amazon cause I wouldn't have wanted to miss one single Viking book and I knew I never seen that title before. I just got it today, picked it up, read about it and find it's Tyra's story. I feel duped! I feel lied to. I don't think you're going to win many reader's with this one. My Fair Viking was great on it's own, it's cover was great, it's title was great, there was no need to change anything. And then to put it out as NEW??? Shame on you Ms. Hill. I am very disappointed.

PS your webmail won't even let me email you! Shame again!
