Five stars, or one billion and one stars wouldn't even begin to begin to rate this work of art. Of course, if you are a fan of Vikki's, you know exactly what I mean...for you see, any song her voice touches quickly turns into something so magical, so completely out of this world...that most of the time, you just sit there in utter astonishment...and you sigh...and then sigh again. This Christmas Album will make you feel like that, and so much more. It's a brilliant CD, composed of a wonderful variety of sweet touching inspirational songs that you will just absolutely adore. Some I know you will know, and some you might just be hearing for the first time...and what a wonderful way to hear a song for the first time, but to hear it from Vikki. Some of my favorites are of course, her version of "Feliz Navidad" ... "Mary Did You Know" and probably my very favorite "The Prayer" in which will have you in tears the moment you hear the first sound of her voice. Again, what can I say, she touches and warms your heart like no other singer ever could, or ever will. What a Christmas gift! Thank you Vikki!!!

Once again Vikki Carr has outdone herself, the warm rich voice of Ms.Carr comes across in this album, her rendition of "Oh Holy Night" alone is worth the price of the album. During the Holiday season what better way to fill your home with the Christmas spirit other than filling your home with Ms. Carr's music.If you have not received a copy of this album you are missing out on one great voice, keep up the good work Vikki.

A dream finally became reality! Have long waited for this multi-talented,GRAMMY award winning vocalist to do a Christmas recording! Ms. Carr has done a few Christmas singles over her illustrious career,but this is her first complete Christmas set! She does a wonderful array of both traditional and contemporary Christmas songs and blends Spanish and english renditions magnificently! Carr is under-estimated by many and it is her who long before fashionable,recorded songs in Spanish ! She fought with Columbia records to record and release her first spanish lp back in 1971. Luckily the fans responded and the lp was her biggest seller for Columbia! It is great to see Carr back again with a holiday collection that is perfection in every way! Add it to your collection and make your holidays a little brighter!A++++++

The "Vikki Carr Christmas Album" will surely give an extra sparkle to Christmas. Her voice is even more GOLDEN than before and her interpretation of "Oh Holy Night", "Mary did you know" and "The Prayer" underline the true meaning of Christmas. The CD is a treasure and strongly RECOMMENDED. GOOD ON YOU, VIKKI!

this CD is great-sweet & even fun to listen too-a wonderful selection of Christmas songs.

Vikki Carr has produced, with Ralph Jungheim, a lovely Christmas album full of wonder and children and faith -- and Spanish guitar. I am unable to determine whether "Mary Did You Know", "What Made the Baby Cry" and "The Littlest Angel" are original with this album, but they should be standards from here on in. The blend of Spanish and English is quite delightful -- youngsters and Spanish learners will be able to decipher the lyrics. (Vikki has obviously experienced the best of motherhood herself.) Order this one well in advance of Christmas Eve and play it while your kids are opening their presents. If you like Vikki Carr because you like Vikki Carr, order it now. I'll do both.

What's there to say! Vikki Carr has done it again. Her new Holiday CD is a must for all! It's been much too long coming, but well worth the wait!This Cd will most definitely please both her English and Spanish speaking fans. Vikki has delivered a wonderful collection of bi-lingual xmas music. Thank You, Vikki for a wonderful addition to my collection.

Vikki Carr fans have been waiting for this Christmas album a very long time. Was it worth the wait? You bet. Ms. Carr's voice is as strong and fresh as ever. Every time I listen to "The Littlest Angel" I cry. The whole CD is very good and would be a good addition to everyones' Christmas library. One song of special note is "What Made The Baby Cry". It's a Christmas song that will make you think.

Bing Crosby , Frank Sinatra , ,and Nat King Cole chritmas albums are going to be fewer in the stores to make room for this cd to join the greatness rank among true classics. . Vikki Carr has topped herself AGAIN . Vikki gives a great choice of best songs from the past and what WILL soon be, christmas new classic songs . This cd is going to make alot of people wonder why they dont have a bigger Vikki Carr cd collection.After christmas at the watercooler , people will not be telling their coworkers what they got for christmas , they will be arguing their favorite tracks on the Vikki Carr Christmas album .Some will also be caught saying ..."Vikki Carrs voice is the only heavenly sound we have heard on earth."

Well I am a true Vikki Carr fan. Love her voice and I think she is a truly wonderful human being. BUT, this CD is a big disappointment. Somehow it just doesn't work for her. I think it is a combination of the arrangements and orchastra, they just don't match her voice. Any of her Spanish or earlier music is outstanding and I recommend it, but sorry not this CD. However, the price is right so if you are confused, pick up a copy and judge for yourself. Its not awful but not typical Vikki quality.
