Waffles from this Winnie-the-Pooh waffle iron may be just the thing to entice your busy toddler to sit down to breakfast. The grids on this two-square waffler have fun pictures in the center that imprint Pooh’s face on one side of the waffle and Tigger’s face on the other. The waffler starts to heat up as soon as it’s plugged in and takes about 5 to 8 minutes to reach the proper baking temperature. An indicator light in the shape of a bee turns red during preheating and during baking and turns off when waffles are done. The grids are coated with a nonstick silicone surface, which makes cleanup easier but requires that you remove waffles with non-metallic utensils to preserve the coating. The waffler’s handle and back are covered in durable plastic that remains cool to the touch during baking. However, the exterior chrome panel on the top of the waffler (embossed with pictures of Pooh and Tigger) gets very hot so make sure to keep it out of reach of little hands. The Winnie-the-Pooh waffler stands on one end for more compact storage and is covered by VillaWare under a one-year warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde

It works as stated and the kids loved the Tigger and Pooh on the waffles. The only down side I found was, that the side that is Tigger was hard to fill without it over loading it. It dripped out the front and made a small mess. It was easy to use and every waffle did turn out nice and brown and ready to eat!!!

The iron arrived quickly. Our children were so excited. I was worried that more would want Tigger on their waffle instead of Pooh, or vice versa, but the makers are so clever that each square has one on one side and the other on the other, so that every person getting a square can choose which one they want, and feel like they have both. Our kids love it.

The waffle iron works well. It cooks just a little slow, but evenly. The waffles are thin, which is good for kids. They end up being a little tough to cut. But they are so fun that none of us mind.

This is a great waffle iron.

The imprint on the waffles is very cute and the waffle maker itself is handsome. It makes two waffles at a time, about the size of a piece of toast each. We keep it on the table so we can cook and eat at the same time.

Nice waffle iron. I burnt the first batch...and it was a little hard to clean, but that's my fault. Cute impressions!
