This waffle iron is very easy to use - just spray on a little Pam, preheat, pour in a moderate amount of batter, use the back of a spoon to get the batter to the edge of the hearts, close the lid and wait for the WaffleTone. My only minor complaint is that the tone is more shrill than I was expecting, but it is loud enough to grab your attention if you've wandered out of the immediate vicinity (maybe 15-20 foot range, max).

This is a great waffle maker. The waffles it produces are the thin crisper ones not the big thik ones. In my experience - kids seem to like thinner ones better. This unit makes really cute flower shaped large waffles - and when you section it up into 5 pieces - you get hearts. The kids just love them. I usually use bisquick for my waffle mis and found that setting the heat to 3 1/2 usually produces nicely cooked & colored waffles. Heat up time is super-fast and the waffle maker will be ready by the time your mixing is done! Adding chocolate chips or blueberries etc. is easy and does not change your cooking time. Enjoy!

This is a great waffle maker. You could use it as your primary or, as I did, as a special one along with my main one. It made beautiful heart shaped waffles and had a very useful little cook book with it. I would recommend it to anyone who is thinking about it.

I LOVE this waffle iron! If you've ever made vegan waffles, you know that they have to cook longer and also have a tendency to stick and pull apart. I set this iron on 6 and allow it to ring for two bells before removing the waffle - I like crispy waffles! I use my misto to spray a light coating of oil on the surfaces between each waffle, and after two bells, I carefully open the lid, holding the edge of the waffle down while opening. They come out beautifully every time! I would buy this brand again and again and again!

I love this waffle maker. Besides it's great red color and the shape of the pancakes it makes, it is also easy to use. Please note, this is for making thin, Scandinavian style waffles, and you will need a recipe for the traditional thin batter used in this type of waffle. Making my own batter with a Norwegian cream waffle recipe, I have had nothing but perfect waffles, ready for a smearing of jam or just a sprinkling of powdered sugar.
