After my old waffle iron went up in smoke I did extensive research into the pluses and minuses of several brands of waffle irons. I chose the Villaware Perfect Waffler primarily because the automatic thermostat maintains the correct temperature for perfect waffles-very hot, something most other waffle irons can't do. As a result, I get crispy, tasty waffles each time without the bother of adjusting the thermostat. All I have to do is wait for the light to go off, pour the batter onto the grid, close the top(the light goes back on), and wait for the light to go off again; perfect waffles, every time. This waffle iron, being teflon coated, is also very easy to clean and allows the fat conscious to use less of it in the preparation of the waffles. Though I still use some of my mother's old appliances, I am glad my old waffle iron burned up so I could try this one. I would recommend the Villaware Perfect Waffler to anyone who really likes his/her waffles brown, crisp and delicious every time.

I've tried many different waffle irons over the years and this, by far, is the best one. I've used it several times so far and every single waffle, no matter what recipe I use, comes out perfect. Nothing sticks and when the "done" tone sounds, it's ready!

I bought this waffler not quite sure what to expect. The one I bought was originally broken - I sent it back to the manufacturer with a note describing the problem and a new one arrived two weeks later! This second waffler cooks very quickly - almost too fast. You have to gobble down one waffle in a hurry in order to catch the next one piping hot. This waffler is head and shoulders above the 10 year old one that I had been used to and makes perfect waffles every time.

Just bought this one. I love the fact that the temperature settings are easy to adjust, the knob is large and firm enough that you can tell what you're doing. My kids love the "tweety tweet" sound when the waffles are done. There is a light to watch, but you don't have to! Easy to keep clean. Non-stick is great.

I have literally been looking for years for a good waffle maker. That search ended with the Villaware 3000. I agree with the other reviews that say that the Villaware delivers perfect waffles from the first (even the initial throw-away waffle). Gone are my past frustrations with waffles sticking and pulling apart. I have used the waffle iron several times and have not had a hint of a problem yet. In light of the criticisms of the sound and volume of the ready tone, when I first used the waffle iron I braced myself and stood back a little. While the tone is high-pitched, anyone who would toss the waffle iron out on that basis is perhaps just a little overly sensitive. It allows you to go to another room and not have to stand watch over the iron as it cooks. And while the dial on top is a little loose when the iron is cold, it does have reference numbers and it does have limits on how far it can be turned in each direction (it does not spin endlessly). The dial can definitely be used to make a difference in how dark the waffle is. I highly recommend this waffle iron.

This is an update. It has been a couple of years since I got my Villaware waffler. I use it often and still am very pleased with it--no buyer's remorse whatsoever. In fact, I am now ordering one as a gift for a relative. Still a five star appliance.

The Villaware Perfect Waffler 3000 is absolutely terrific! I'd been living on Eggo Waffles so long that I'd forgotten how delicious a freshly made waffle could be. This machine heats quickly (the tweet-tweet whistle is a nice touch) and in just minutes, a crispy waffle is ready to eat. I like that I can change the darkness (and crispiness) of each waffle and that the tweet-tweet tells me that it's done if I'm preparing other breakfast items simultaneously. No burnt waffles for me ... Mine are "perfect" everytime just like Villaware claims. When I wear this one out, I'm buying another one just like it. I must say, I LOVE this waffler. Anyone who doesn't like this machine must have gotten a defective one. Mine's just fabulous and my family agrees ... The price is great, too.

This waffler can think. It lets you know when it is heating and when you can cook and when the waffle is done. You may choose the color of your waffle from dark to light. This waffler lets you know by a light and by a tone in case you are not looking at the waffler when each stage has been reached.
My waffle was good and it was only from a popular mix.
The waffler looks good to and takes up little space.

After reading the reviews on the site, we put this item on our registry. I am so happy we recieved it.

After using it on over a half dozen occassions, I am thrilled with it. The waffles are consistant in their quality. The knob allows you to adjust how dark/crisp you want them.

The sound to alert you the waffle iron is hot/done is a bit shrill and loud. However, you can't miss hearing it, which is the point.

I bought this for my brother for Christmas, so this is really his report. He is totally pleased - it's easy to use, the ready beeper is very handy, allowing you to go about other preparations in the kitchen. It really is no-stick, so clean-up is easy, and the design makes for compact upright storage. And, the waffles are great. I'm getting myself one!

I read all the reviews and finally decided on the VillaWare V3000 Classic Waffler. I made waffles for the first time on my new VillaWare this morning. Everyone was so right! I expected for first time use, that my first couple of waffles would come out either sticking to the grill, not quite done, or overdone. Well, I was so surprise when the whistle blew and I opened up the waffler maker to find a perfectly done waffle. I have a big family so I had to make 12 waffles. Every single waffle came out perfect!! I love the fact that it notifies me when each waffle is done. My family loved the waffles. It was quick and so easy and clean up was a breeze. I am sooo glad I purchased the VillaWare V3000. I never thought I could find the perfect waffle maker, but this is definitely it!!
